spec me a mid ranger pc for my dad

OK his pc is 9 years old, however he wishes to keep his modded case.

so looking at the below

- mobo
- memory
- cpu
- cpu cooler
- video card for display and movies (not a gamer)
- PSU

not looking for high end, mid range, i'm upto date with most things apart from motherboards cpu coolers and psu's as been a shuttle fan and user for 8 years

Are your old mans drives IDE or SATA, that includes optical drive too.

oh yeah guess he will need a 1tb as it will be IDE, and prob getting on a bit in age!

gcard just needs to be good at video playback, no games
