The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Changing carry weight is cheating IMO

Thats a major part of the game...The fun is working out what you drop, pick up and leave behind.

Only time I've used it is moving house... trying to haul 6000+ weight's worse of stuff around to a new house is somewhat annoying.

Haha yeah, I have a dwarf mace at the moment with soul capture. As soon as I can make a better weapon I'll just unenchant it so I have the enchantment available xD

kd

Im still using my skyforge battleaxe with the soul steal enchantment and improved via blacksmith.. I think it has 120dmg now. Haven't seen any better battleaxes :(

I'm still using my steel skyforge sword right now. I put a single perk point in smithing so I could sharpen the blade to superior quality. Always on the look out for a better sword though.

LOL genius.

is better :P

Heard from a mate that if you carry way to much stuff you can't fast but it your have the horse and go on it then you can fast travel, anyone confirm this?

Yep, just hop on your horse and you can fast travel even if you are carrying too much.

My first character is level 39 - went for archery/stealth and im already bored of it, even on master difficulty there is no challenge at all.

I have started a new mage, level 11 and much more fun :)

To train smithing I read somewhere that you travel between cities with blacksmiths and buy out their iron ore and then create iron daggers. Sell the daggers back to the store and repeat the process?

Problem I've found is that they only stock like 2 iron ores, how on earth can I train smithing when I can only buy so few iron ore? is there a way around this?

I leveled smithing mostly making iron daggers and leather bracers, I only found this trick out after I was 60+ smithing though and the vendors always had lots of ore/ingots

So guys what playstyle do you use? And why?

I started out using Destruction spells mostly, with a greatsword handy in case things got a bit close up. Got a bit bored of just using Destruction spells after about 30 hours and have been slowly transitioning into a more stealth orientated character, using Nightingale Armour (with the Krosis mask), Illusion spells, and a bow and dagger. It's been pretty fun so far. I still switch over to my Destruction spells for some scenarios, though, as it's just easier (Dragons and Dragon Priests are good examples).

Just hit level 64 today and managed to get my full set of Daedra kit enchanted twice finally!
I've only visited one major town (Whiterun) and still have to do the DB quests, Civil war quests and am only 4 quests into the main quest.

The size of this game is immense! Loving it!

What exactly have you been doing all that time? :p Just I see a few people mention they are well into the game in terms of hours / levels but have hardly done much
