Game tied at 199,199 on domination. We held 2 points A and C. Game ends we lost. WTF.

I'm starting to think I should be using a riot shield on my back at all times when playing this, most of the time I'm getting shot at from 2 or 3 directions at once due to the completely open nature of the maps on domination.

I know how you feel dannyjo22 as every round i play I get shot more in the back & sides than face on & it's only maybe 1 or 2 times a round when I have a face to face gun fight. As for the maps & spawn points I'm getting used to them now & they do make for an exciting game as nobody is safe anywhere at any time.

I am pretty sure though that in a short time say a month or so the games will have more structure as more people will know what they are doing rather than just running around like headless chickens.
Also HQ Pro is a good game with more face to face action, ****** hard though.

So I'm playing FFA, winning games or coming 2nd/3rd etc which was cool... Then all of a sudden I start sucking... I mean going 0/9 yet the game before I was 30/5 etc... So I leave in a little bit of a rage as none of my hits are registering... Yep I pulled host... After some testing it seems every time I'm not host I do well, every time I get host I lose horribly. Anyone else get this?

That's how it was for me on Black Ops. My connection is so bad at the moment it doesn't matter if I'm host or not, I just lag to bits 90% of the time.

I went into theatre mode and watched the video for that game danny, the only thing I can see is at the very last second one of the guys on there team was on B capturing the flag for a split second before it ended, I dont know if that makes a difference, but we defiantly had the two flags for the last set of points!

It's really strange as I have a 100mb line, when I get host on PC version of MW3 it's fine just doesn't seem to like host on the console

Although I do feel sorry for you lagging all the time

Have you tried turning of theatre mode?

I need to do the AC130 mission on regular tonight for the achievement so I can snap and insert the disc.

They never had it at the end, they were tough games and it's annoying to lose one because the game can't count

8 more levels until disappointment. The AK was way better in Black Ops.

I hate the AK in this game, just seems so weak

I'm on 100mb too

There's actually a fault in my area that's the problem coupled with over-utilisation at peak times giving me terrible packet loss. Virgin are apparently working on it but if it continues for much longer I'll be switching to ADSL even though I can only get 8mbps in my area.

I'd rather have low speed and actually be able to play games.

Has anyone used the G18 yet? Akimbo? I'm guessing it's toned down since MW2.

They're still some what useful, but the clip size has been reduced a lot and I'm not sure if they still have the same range as the MW2 ones.

I still think Akimbo weapons are too accurate for what they are.

Agreed man, spawning with someone literally pointing their gun at you, or running towards you is an absolute joke. I hope the logic behind spawns gets a tweak at some point.

My worst count was spawning/death 4 times in a row because people were looking at me when I spawned.

Currently going through the campaign on veteran, about half way through and enjoying it. Sometimes I die 6 times in a row on one part, I'll take a break then come back and do it first time, it's bizarre!

G18 Akimbo was my weapon of choice for about 100 + hours on MW2 on the PC I loved them but these don't seem to have the same feel to them. Close up they tear through anyone and anything but the recoil on them is mental, not as good but defo good when going through CQB stuff.

Agreed is terrible how accurate they are up against a machine gun.

Last night both Soulja and I got spawned twice on the trot together side by side with an enemy player looking at us. He mowed us down twice and got 4 kills before we even had time to react.

I don't believe they can do much with the spawning on these maps, there's just too many open angles to be fired upon. That couple with capturing a point at A and having acres of land behind you for them to keep spawning in makes this for me the worst online COD yet.

I'm not going to complain about COD lag where your gun seems like a one shot kill one round and an air rifle the next because you know what you are signing up for with COD. Nothing will change until people stop playing it like they did with Gears 2 and they had to go to dedicated servers for the next one/s.
