**The Official Nokia Lumia 800 Thread***

Is the Bluetooth on these reliable? I'm on my second Omnia 7, soon to be third. The Bluetooth works at first and then stops working. Nothing fixes it. Seems to be an issue with the phone NOT WP7.

Connected to 3 laptops, car (headset + SIM access profiles), headsets from major manu's like Moto/SE/Nokia OK here.

the button rattles on mine, its doesn't feel secure like the volume or lock buttons and having had a look round it seems that it might be a fault.

Went back to the shop as it was seriously wobbly, felt like it was going to come out and P4u bugger about so much they annoyed me to the extent I asked for a refund...maybe i'll try again another time.

You guys are probably gonna hate me for this, but I just got off the phone with T mobile CS to ask for price quotes and renewal offers based on the current prices of the Lumia 800. What they said was:

- The price to upgrade on my current contract = FREE
- I can keep my 50% discount as its for life and move onto any £35 per month tariff at £17.50
- Currently (if upgrading today) I would be able to keep my Flext 35, and drop the WnW max, but they cant guarantee that I will be able to do this in feb.

So I would get:

Free Nokia Lumia 800
Flext 35, 18 month contract, 50% discount = £17.50 pm
(£180 credit to spend on minutes or texts including 08 numbers I think)

Total cost = £315!

I would be stupid to cancel this contract right? :p

That seems a very good deal indeed, seeing as the contract is cheaper than the phone.
Please say you accepted then and there.

My renewal isnt until 1st of february, I asked for a price quote based on todays prices and wanting to drop the internet as I'm getting the one plan.

Any 35 pm tariff, 50% discount, and free Nokia Lumia 800 is what they said :)

That's a shame.

Still by feb the ace should be out.

Oh Samsung Galaxy Ace? This one?

Thats less than a Lumia 800, but if they go against their word, refuse to honor what they told me, and kicking up a fuss doesnt work, then I suppose I could take that.

I'm getting a Galaxy Nexus tomorrow and actually wanted to cancel my T Mobile contract.

But refusing to keep Flext 35 on an 18 month contract and 50% discount along with a free Lumia 800 would be insanity, I could just sell either phone if the cost becomes an issue.

£40 pm on the Galaxy Nexus + one plan, plus a Free Lumia 800 on any T mob £35 contract at half price ..... I'm not that rich :(

Oh, and T Mobile also have it available in both Black or Blue .... I like the blue one very much, it looks like a gorgeous yummy candy bar.

can you see how many of them have wobbly/rattly camera buttons?

A lot of them are slightly wobbly. Not overly so. Like, they will go from side to side a bit. Don't rattle though.

Bear in mind 90% of these will be prototype hardware and not be release hardware.

staff / friends & family discount sure is good :) In other news, Nokia paid for everyone at our place to have a nice coffee so ta Nokia, buy their phones please - I like free coffee. Shame we now have to see more adverts per 5 minutes inside our building than outside on the street, I can't even get the N800 on the staff tariff.

Sup eliot, Bristol office?

All 3 I tried had it to varying degrees, with my phone being the worst, the Nokia rep in the store having the best and the phone they pulled out the cupboard somewhere in between. Feels odd when compared to the rocker and lock button which are rock solid then the camera button is wobbly.

I have the Advantage Plan for life from when I worked at Asda.

They actually cancelled it when I did my first upgrade, and retentions put on a lifelong 50% discount through them instead. I can keep it on any £35 pm tariff, and get a free Lumia 800 WOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I'm repeating myself, but I'm so happy, if they honour that in February that is.

I think it's because the camera button has the half way down focus feature. Unlike all my other phones where you press the button and it focuses and snaps, these you can press half way to focus, then all the way to snap. Like a normal camera.
