Hi guys, i'm after a cheap-ish sofa bed that's good looking and comfortable.

Had a look on Ikea's website but they don't seem to have anything that takes my fancy, i'm basically after something like this:

The one i've listed is 2nd hand, would prefer it to be new if possible.

Thanks.

I'm 6.2" tall so it would have to be big as well.

I had one which looked similar to that and it was terrible as a sofa and bed, stupidly uncomftable. Just look at the lack of support and padding.
Better of looks for a traditional lookin sofa that folds out looking at the sUpport and padding, best of trying them whenever possible.

Sofas are surprisingly expensive £89 wouldn't even get you a massive range second hand on eBay. As its ikea go try it out, there's stores everywhere.

Will try and nip up over the weekend, thanks. I'm still open for suggestions though so please feel free to link me anything suitable.

I had that model of sofa bed. The springs creaked, the welding on a couple of the cushion supports (not structural) broke, and as I'm your height I had to sleep diagonally across it.

It served its purpose as a cheap and cheerful sofabed, mostly as a sofa, for a couple of years.

as above, majority of cheap sofa beds are as uncomfy as hell :( I had one from Ikea that looked decent enough but actually there was a 5 inch gap where the 2 cushions didn't meet! ended up filling it up with a wedge of foam to help the situation.

Also note, quite a lot of them state "for occasional use only", buying one of these to use every night may end it's life pretty quickly through wear and tear unless you get lazy and just leave it down as a bed all the time
