Just started my Christmas season viewing of Band of brothers and it got me thinking about an old movie we watched in history class at school.
The seen that sticks out in my head was a bomb damaged house and inside a line of boys queued as a girl let each look down her underwear (really not as seedy as it sounds )
Another seen was the wife's scrambling to retrieve a germans parachute for its silk and small kids firing off live rounds with a hammer and nail.
for the life of me i cant remember the name of the movie!
