What does that mean ? Have they reintroduced spawn protection again or have they made the game make sure it spawns you away from the enemy. The description is very DICE like (vague)

I would guess it stops the enemy spawning 3 foot behind you and shooting/knifing you? I hate when that happens.

You need to capture bases, defend them, assist others, spot, suppress and plenty more to get up in the top.

Maybe the patch will help as my beybinds are fubar. The game has decided to use one key for entering a vehicle and a another for exiting. I've checked my bindings and they are as i expect them to be, but in game they just don't work as they should. So i can't fly anything, can't spot, cos the keys don't work as they should.
 
Running ATI 11.11 drivers and latest CAP but Crossfire only seems to use 1 GPU, is this a common issue, anybody there getting decent CFX usage?

Too true... Snipers are only properly affective on defending on maps like RUSH or camping in Team DM! imo - thousands of people will disagree... all in all what do you guys think to the patch (cant access patch notes at work at the moment!)

11.11a, 4890+4870, it's using both, but 4890 isn't ramping up it's clocks properly, shall try again. :)

still depends on the weapons "time to kill". The nerf doesn't mean the SCAR is now unless; just more balenced.

I still suspect the G3 will still be my weapon of choice for hardcore; not that I play normal anyway.
 
Im still trying to find the best recon sniper rifle on HC! currently using the SV-98 but unlockeding the M908B soon so will give that a whizz

I would suggest that you try and play on a high ticket Conquest server - more time to adjust tactics and focus on what you are good at, as well as a better feel for all the maps. Also more time in game = more SPM.

Good Tip, will also try that myself tonight... you know any IPs/Names of good UK based high ticket servers? or can you not disclose this information on this Forum? :)

it appears with the new patch anyone with RU version's of the game will be getting a black screen. This might not just apply for RU but may also apply for other countries versions.

I've been taking a look at the comments on the official battlelog blog post and it does appear that it's more RU copies which are having the issue.

A possible solution

"FIX / SOLUTION: The Black screen is caused by language files that are not original. The language files have been updated, and that ones that you put in manually are now old and won't be playable anymore. Go to registry and change the path to language files back to your original installed language and the game will run.."

Well yes, actually. The Engineer class is OP because it has weapons that can match the Assault class in addition to carrying mines and rocket/missile launchers.

Engineers should get 3 rockets maximum and be required to stand stationary when firing rockets. Resupplying rockets should also take as long as resupplying grenades does and provide the Support class with more points.

IMO the Engineer class shouldn't get more than scope attachments for their rifles, only pistols. It's ridiculous they are carrying around twice a massive boomstick without any penalty whatsoever. This is why the Scar was nerfed.

Don't even get me started on how tanks need a serious buff. No matter how good a tank crew is, if 4 or more Engineers are around, which often happens because it's the most popular class, it gets taken down too easily.
