I really don't understand this mindset at all.

I've been trollin' for years... About 15 actually so I can understand what britters is getting out of this, however he has crossed that boundary where he is more of an attention seeker than a decent troll, so I stand by my statement of FOAD. Up to this thread I didn't care and I still don't but that is my opinion on the matter.

I never understood the mindset of those on their high horse...

No. I made it crystal clear the result would be based on the poll the moment I was asked .. down in 572!!

Then I talked about how I theoretically didn't need to actually base my leaving on the poll.

Then, if you look, 85 people had some kind of schizoid embalism because they thought I'd actually use this technicality despite me never saying I would!! Which, literally, was interesting to me.

I never said I was actually going to ignore the poll. Now I could have said I'm NOT going to .. but inaction <> trolling! I just let people get on their merry (and very angry) horses!! You've got to remember, deep down they're having all kinds of fun slating me. Like Wolf off gladiators .. the guy you LOVE to hate. I don't want a ban for this reason TBH. I want to talk about which weapon is best on BF3 now and have good discussion about how to beat end-of-level baddie 3 on Sonic! .. not fight here .. as that bloke in Blade Runner said ... 'Time ... to die ..'.

theres rules for a reason and the mods are quick to come down on people normally but all of a sudden hes getting away with it?

If he is a troll let the mods decide he is a troll. All this 'ooo look at him breaking the rules we must rise up, the moderating team are failing blah blah' is miserable - just use the RTM button. The effort taken to do that pretty much precisely matches how annoyed anyone should possibly be.
