Watch - 3atm water resistance

yes, but i wouldnt. Resistance still means water can get into the watch just not damage the actual mechanics of it and then you end up with dodgy fogging when the watch heats up.

30 meters "water resistance" is equivalent to about 3 meters of actual underwater use, so, just about, but i wouldn't recommend it. :)

Go swimming/snorkelling with my Animal watch on all the time, guaranteed waterproof to 100m, it's hardly a diver's watch, but still works after ~10 years :p

I went swimming with my animal watch guaranteed waterproof to 100m, it filled with water after about 30mins.

Personally i wouldn't risk it unless its designed for diving

Fair enough - It gets pressure tested and guaranteed every time I have the battery changed, but then it was only £30 so I wouldn't be hugely bothered if it died on me :p

3 ATM = 30m which is splashproof, the depths are in still water , swimming etc is very different in terms of pressures, do not go snorkelling in anything less tham 10ATM/100m
