lmao, 1-1, 85th minute, through with Doumbia, he didn't want to run, then he tackles me, walks up the other end, Suarez breaks three tackles and slots. Absolutely laughable.

Fabiano and Anelka have a little speed boost thing they do, which is unexpected and Pato / IF Gameiro cannot do it, even though they are much better rated and better stats.

I dont know what makes them do it, but it's lethal in this game when up against someone who uses jockey.

I only figured out how to do it properly the other day, it's not the kick the ball further away from you sprint boost, its completely different, im still perfecting it, but the times i have pulled it off, it has been phenomenal, ease past a defender and open up the space for a power shot or finesse shot.

Is it just me, or is the market terrible at the moment? I can't seem to shift any of the following players:

IF Thiago Neves (CM) - 45 / 49 BIN.
IF Ramires (CM) - 38 / 40 BIN.
Neymar - 23 / 26 BIN.
Hulk - 27 / 30 BIN.
Nilmar - 4 / 6 BIN.

All in 4-3-2-1. I'm selling them all at a loss too.
 
I accidentally did this thing once with Villa where I flicked the right stick foward and it just nutmegged the defender and wandered past and he scored. I was just sat there like :eek: 'I AM DA BEST FIFAH PLAYAH EVAH!'

I've tried it so many times since... never happened again :(

There's a few context sensitive moves in this game. Like when you flick the right stick just before receiving the ball and it flicks it up and spins 180. You just have to be in the right position relative to the defender. If a CB is standing there with his legs open (:p) you can flick the right stick forward and the left stick either left or right depending on which way you want to run and if you've done it properly the ball goes through the defenders legs and you go left or right and meet the ball on the other side. :)

nope, but i personally see no point in it. same thing with mw3, i have elite, they have tournies for weekly/monthly prizes, but i dont enter them either.

there is no chance of me winning it, so i dont bother, i lose maybe one in every 10 online matches i play, all online gold tournies.

this is with me using 8 players in my french team, all worth less than 3K, most worth less than 2K and some less than 1K. so im not winning due to me having the best players in the game, both my teams are rated 81 (with gold players on the bench).

tell dan the bottler i said "hi".

i added you, when will you be on?

when we play, i will need 1 match in between against someone online, due to the way my rotation works.

currently all my french team are on 99 fitness, so i can use them for friendlies. but brazil is on 96-98 fitness, so after i use my french team, i can play someone online, so my brazil team recovers, then play you again using the brazilians.

i know 2-3 fitness wont make the world of difference, but im sure you will want me to bring my A game. so 1 match in between, so my players get the fitness i require.

Indeed, Gabby has a decent shot... I use him quite a bit and he has scored a hatful for me.

You just said there's no chance in you winning it, but, you win pretty much all of your games online even though you have a terrible team...?

I thought in the World Cup tournament you can pick any team you wanted, so surely if you picked RM / Barca etc you'd absolutely rinse everyone in the world?

Edit: Why don't you and Dan7 just play on VG? 20 quid bet, sounds fair to me.

there will be some guy out there who only loses 1 in every 20 games online, and someone else who only loses 1 in 30.

so what is the point?

i dont have a terrible team, they are very good, but they aren't anywhere near the best or some of the teams i come up against and win.
