The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Anyone else have a real hatred of Rifton's inhabitants? I ventured there last night and was immediately dissed by the guards and then some cocky guy called Moat I think. Genuinely felt rage over the comment, something like I was even more stupid than I looked lol. He then just walked off.

Walked around for a bit and got called a few things along the way by just random people. Then went into the Inn and found out the whole town is run by the Thieves Guild and all controlled by the Black-Briar family. I then met some old woman from the family who pretty much spat in my face.

My aim is now to basically kill everyone who I don't like in that city, particularly Moat. No actual plan as yet though lol... just dwelling on how I can go about it!

Was in a village yesterday, this guy runs up to me and says, i got this note for you.

So i looks at the note, it had a black handprint on it, and underneath the handprint it said "we know" lol, ooook??

spoiler alert :D

The Dark Brotherhood is a group of assassins who are willing to assassinate anyone that they are paid to.

Before you join them in Skyrim you may have to kill one or two of their assassins. If you loot their bodies you will find a note stating that someone wants you dead and that they have already paid. Or you can track down a young child in Windhelm and complete a mission from him you will later receive an anonymous note from a courier simply stating "We Know."

edit: really enjoying the game btw :)

Thanks for that, now "I know" :D

its not the fix thats the problem, its your pc! how come everyone can play the game perfectly fine without the ram fix but you cant? stop being such a crybaby.

and i doubt Bethesda will miss your cash

What?

The LAA fix has hellped 100's ( if not 1000's of people play the game with no CTD's, including me...

Is there a good place to get dwarven ingots? I put a perk point into making dwarven armour and I wanted to try my hand at making some stuff.

You can pick up all the junk from any dwarven dungeon such as Mzulft (spelling?) and then just melt it down to make ingots.

Ah! I dont think I've actually done a dwarven dungeon yet, other than the one you briefly go through when escaping from that prison mine with the Foresworn. Will try and find a dwarf dungeon to do when I get home from work.

Any of their junk does? Just smelt it as normal at a forge?

Erm well I got sent there on a quest from the Mages College, so you may have to be on that to get in, not sure.

There's several dungeons with those kinda mobs in though, maybe you have access to another.

gotta say im loving skyrim,

im level 12 now, iv already had 6 random dragon attacks, (i like to explore lol)

the only thing about skyrim is it feels a bit lonely? mainly because its single player like all elder scrolls have been, but for example guards etc have helmets that you cant see there face, it just feels a bit grim and no ones kind really lol :p

still love it tho :)

You can get dwarven parts from markarth (sp?) city at the left of the map. Made over 700 ingots and levelled my blacksmithing that way. Just make sure you have a lot of iron ingots too! (Make the dwarven bow)

Mine has stopped working all together. I click to play and it goes through a loop and end up with the launch thing again, doesnt matter how many times i click play.

I had the same problem. My exe had disappeared.

Quick search and i found it in the saves folder. Moved it from their back to the skyrim folder = Problem solved.

Pretty much, you need the dwemer junk bits and some dwemer oil.

Ulric is a nob, no way I'm joining the stormcloaks, they're a bunch or racists! Though I don't agree with baning Talos worship either, but I'll join the leigon i think. Dunno when I'll end up doing that though, always end up doing other stuff!

I saw some posts a while back about people running Skyrim in 3D, just wondered what sort of spec they have and what sort of level of detail you get?

Quite interested in what sort of graphics card I'd need, currently running it at 1280x1024 on a 5770 and it's beautiful. Expect I'd need something like an nVidia 570 to run it in 3D at 1920x1080?

Having said all that I don't have the cash at the moment anyway so by the time I do get the cash everything will have moved on. :)
