I haven't been able to invite friends or find a game <200ms ping since update. Friends get 'cannot join game' or similar error messages, given up for the night.

Have a go at smack town spec ops in co-op on veteran. The starting couple of minutes, in particular the first 30 seconds are about as hard and randomly rage inducing as any other cod vet.

Yet both Wyrdo and I could do it first time on Vet alone. This isn't the only mission where the co-op difficulty is way out there compared to single player run through. Did they even play test this?

1 more mission to 3 star for 1000/1000g.

Umm might be a bit obvious reason but I've Played quite a lot. Up to level 60 and never played on a map called downturn ?

Interesting that you say on infinity with low ping and great upload you are able to kill in one burst and get host a lot. Yet the rest of this forum is banging on about getting nerfed for those attributes

Agree even worse than before for me, i can not even get close to positive figures now.

I think i will sell it by then end of the week if it does not improve, it's just impossible to play.

It just feels like everyone else is playing in hardcore mode, whilst I'm stuck in standard mode.

I had 7 good lag free games and two lagged to hell games, which caused me some annoyance and as a result started hammering around the map and died a lot of times, hehe.

He does have a point if he is refering to the PS3 version like he said previously. The PS3 version of Black Ops was by all accounts, appalling.

I am not trying to sound like a **** but people should realise by now what they are in for if they buy a PS3 version of CoD

Mw2 and so far mw3 has run fine on my ps3, the only problems are lag. On the ps3 BO version you had horrible frame drops, jerk ups plus the lag.

Some pretty good games tonight, but loved the one at the end on Bootleg after being reunited with my P90 Specialist class. That one has gone in the Vault

I'm starting to really like that map too.

I had a run of about an hour with good games. Then backed out when another friend came online and the games were crap after that.

It's just a constant lag fest for me now, never really experienced it before yesterday so I'm guessing the kiddies all found out about it and upped their ping majorly. Going to leave mp for a while as its now every match.

Well I've been playing untold hours & haven't lagged apart from the very odd occasion but it's minor for a second or two about once every 10 or so rounds. (PS3)

Ive been finding it laggy too, had some awesome games and then some terrible ones so Im not sure its happening to be honest.

Worst games ? really?

The single player was alright, but it's one night of playing so is only a tiny part of the game for me. I've always viewed COD as a multiplayer game that's only got the single player for setting the scene, training you in weapons, etc and providing the back story.

BOps did that, and completely failed on the mp part of the game. Such a let down.
