I think everybody would like to be in the first wave to get maximum game time out of the weekend. I accepted the invite and started downloading at 7am(GMT) yesterday, I must have accepted it ahead of most people(Was first to post on here about it) so I'll be surprised if I'm not in the first wave..

EDIT: Would be nice if they could focus on Guilds(Capital ships etc.) and more PvP after launch.

I accepted sometime early yesterday so maybe I am one of the lucky ones, we'll see soon enough. Will be checking my inbox come tomorrow as I'm sure we'll get a start time and date.

The emails are staggered - have you tried www.swtor.com/tester to see if you have access? Anyone signed up for beta testing prior to 11/11/11 was invited - maybe email not got through to you yet?

Don't believe so - it's staggered for when your allowed to start but once your in you'll have it for the duration of the weekend.

What makes this MMO better than Rift, WoW or any other MMO that is out currently? From what I can tell, it's just another "clone" that is based on Star Wars.

You should work on your troll detection. It was a sincere question. I am not hating on anything. I am a big fan of the genre - It's pretty much the only thing I play.

I just want to know what makes this MMO different to the others that are already out. I haven't seen any unique features. For example, Rifts main selling point was the unique Rift system. I haven't heard anything unique about SWTOR.

One off the top of my head is the fact that the story for the character and class you choose is different to the other char/class stories. You actually get the feeling that your playing KOTOR within a MMO environment.

It's BIG on story(all voice acted), and obviously has Sci-Fi characters rather than the same old dwarves and trolls...
