The last 2 years were exceptions, but normally you don't get snow as early as November.

I don't mind a little but will be annoyed if it's like last year. I heard on the radio my local council has bought in extra rock salt and has more than enough. I just don't like the fact it'll make the journey to work dangerous and the fact it hangs about for weeks afterwards.

It's not been cold enough yet, but it's going to get colder, we've not even hit winter properly yet.

Met office's accuracy is a joke btw.

Cmon guys. Predicting the weather in this country is like a game of roulette! They spin the wheel and wherever it lands, that's the prediction. Every report conflicts with another one, and the same reports dont say the same thing from one day to the next. I stick to the old looking outside method, and bringing a coat if theres even a chance.

One thing I've learnt through out life is that the Met office can never really predict anything more than a week in advance with much accuracy.

It's not even winter yet...

It is much more likely to get snow in Jan/Feb here, last year was very unusual.

All of these MET office predictions are carp, I seem to remember something about BBQ summer, whatever happens it will be due to "CLIMATE CHANGE"

No they didn't

however some newpapers took comments from people not part of the met office, then twisted the words, and took things out on context to give the headlines like OMG SNOWMAGEDDON IN OCTOBER

I would pretty much completely ignore anything said about the weather in newspapers.
