Debatable. I got it for free and felt a bit let down, maybe because I still have fond memories for Duke 3D. Starts very slow and think it was like 4 hours in until there was anything like a noteworthy fight. Saying that it still has its own sense of charm in places. To be honest what does a fiver get you now a days? My lunch cost me more than that.

Modern COD games retain their value (or should that be price) ridiculously well, £20 is the sort of sale price you'd expect from a summer release, not a game that came out last year.

It's actually a pretty poor game IMO, and this is something from somebody who had it as my most anticipated title for over 10 years. I completed it but in terms of sale titles I'd say the Mass Effect games give better value or TDU2.

I would. It will still be £13.99 until the end of the sale (27th) but it has been on sale before this year for £4.99 and I think a 4 pack was £9.99. The worst that could happen is that you got to wait a few days, better than seeing it pop up on a daily deal for much cheaper.

Yeah totally agree.. imagine buying three copies of it for 13.99each for it to popup a 4pack for a tenner.. I think I'd smash my desk up just out of obligation!

Last sale it was £4.99 a copy.

Well if you were mad to buy it you would have done so at this stage so you may as well hold out until the last day of the sale just in case it receives a further daily discount during the sale.

I am trying to not spend much, as Christmas sales is the big one im waiting for.

I did pick up Dungeon Defenders for a fiver, was going to pay full price the other day so more than happy.

If anyone wants Borderlands i'd wait i picked my GOTY copy for a fiver in the last sale and i expect it to drop to that again either this or the Christmas one.
