Steam Autumn Sale

Whats your steam so I can spam you telling you to buy it? :)

Superewza, but i doubt it would have the desired effect - keeping the client open in Wine results in a massive memory leak. Works when i can be bothered to close it fast enough for running games though :p

How do you change your community ID anyway? ;)

Myself and a friend both just bought Test Drive Unlimited 2. Been waiting for our online racing fix since we bought Flatout 2 a while back for 60p

Can't argue for that sort of money.

Have to say I'm more and more impressed every year with steam. Its the first time in history I think people have been willing to buy the same game more then once! I myself am also guilty of picking up steam copies of disc based games more then once :p Personally I'm hoping SPAZ will drop a bit more in price. Its a fantastic game and theres a big content patch coming soon.

I'm interested in getting Portal 2, I see they have an even cheaper 2 pack option available, anyone interested? Not sure how to go about sharing the payment though, anyone ever shared a dual pack steam game with a person on these forums, if so, easy to do?

(going to sleep now, still 16 hrs left on the offers so will check response tmrw)

got orcs must die last night, been after that for a while

Just need dungeon defenders to go cheaper on a daily and good times.....tbh still gonna have it on the 28th if it doesnt go on daily, just being a cheap skate :D

Just a warning to all the silly people who make this mistake:

DO NOT BUY ANY GAME THAT ISN'T ON DAILY OFFER! IF THE GAME YOU WANT HASN'T APPEARED YET AND IT'S THE FINAL DAY OF THE SALE THEN, AND ONLY THEN, IS IT SAFE TO BUY THAT GAME.

Of course, if you feel the game is worth it then pay away.

I think this is worth repeating for all the people throwing money at stuff that's not in the daily deals.

I only have one Sales rule*... pay no more than a fiver. So Duke is out. So is Portal2 (I wasn't a huge fan of the first). I just played the Orcs Must Die demo though and I'm afraid that's going to be wearing out my mouse this week. Stared out thinking "meh" but somehow you keep playing and before you know it, it's turned into Plants v Zombies all over again. Just one... more... level.

The Christmas sale will be along in a month. I'm sure these will be repeated or even bettered. And I still have games from this time last year which need playing. :-)

*Unless I change my mind. ;-)

I'm hoping Morrowind drops to less than a fiver

It seems strange it's going for more than Oblivion was the other week. You ought to be in luck.

Personally I'm hoping Skyrim drops to under a fiver so I can pick that up. :-) I guess there's a slim chance I may have to wait until this time next year or the year after though... unless they follow the Modern Warfare route, in which case I may have to wait until 2031.

The MW stuff puzzles me. They make a gazillion squid from the first day sales, and yet cling on to their franchise premium for years rather than months. I liked MW1 when I bought it for a tenner, but I'm an offline player, so £20 for BLOPs makes me laugh.
