"Anything else I need to know?

Inside the cockpit remains as driver focused as before – to the extent that front passenger space feels a little impinged. There are three main trim levels - Modern, Luxury and Sport – although we won’t get the Sport here in the UK, as M Sport will arrive in March."

Can anyone confirm this is true?

It's a 4 pot :(

It's got plenty of power and torque though, so does it matter?

I do very much like the look of the F30, what is weird is that I've seen is being advertised in some fleet magazines since the middle of October with nothing on the page to say that it's not avialable.

Unless something else comes around in the next two years, it is likely that the M Sport F30 will be my next choice of car. I wonder when we can expect pics of the M Sport?

I can't see what the F30 does that the F10 doesn't do better.

Our company uses Zenith and they have already started taking orders via their online system. However, the option is for modern, sport and luxury only so I doubt m sport will be on the road in Feb/March. They still haven't released the F20 m sport trim and F20s have been out for a while now.

Sigh, yeah it does

Its a 3 series - a very very common car. Of course there is going to a be a small engined, diesel "sport" version, as its what a huge proportion of the sales will be. If BMW didn't offer it, they'd be stupid.

Watch out for a Jaguar... might be more like 3 years though. :p

How come people can recognise when people don't need an ST220 Mondeo yet can't recognise when people don't need six pot 3.0s.

How come people can't understand why its possible to both understand the economics behind something and be personally disappointed at the same time?
