Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

I've tried searching this thread but can't find anything specific - I know Tefal had this issue.

I have Realtek onboard sound with a Gigabyte mobo and when I play BF3 I sometimes loose sound in game. It's not all sound, mainly gunfire and other bits and bobs. I can usually hear ambient noise in the back ground though.

Anyone heard of this? Doesn't crash my PC and kicks back in after anything up to 20 seconds or so...very strange!

It's mega lols especially when you see an engy come out to repair his damaged vehicle and you have a split second "awww" moment before pressing left mouse button :D

I'm using Fraps BTW, I record at half res in Fraps (game at 1920x1200). This results in virtually no FPS drop while recording. AT full res there's a few fps drop but videos end up being massive. That 1min vid alone was 1.2GB from fraps before I re-encoded it to 100MB.

I loved c4'ing vehicles in bfbc2, awesome fun. Dont have fraps full version, just msi afterburner, latest official version, which i think doesnt record ingame audio. I was thinking of recording some game footage.

Fraps is definitely the way to go about it with speed :)
 
I just ran over a sniper on Bonken with a boat. Epic. :D

I love the little bird, but don't you think it should be a little bit faster and mobile to make up for the lack of armour?

Nope in 2 days i've had two rounds.... Spoke to Ea said tough luck go play on a server without pb enabled, devs working on it but no ETA... FU you DICE i'm buying COD!
