***** The Official Galaxy Nexus Thread *****

Not had the issue yet if am honest and currently using a T-Mobile sim, I haven't opened the sim that came with it as I don't want to tie myself into it as my T-Mobile one is up in a month.

It seems that I am 3's lowest priority, people who have ordered after me seem to be getting theirs, I'm getting well tired of waiting. Its been a week and a half now and I'm just starting to loose interest.

Looks like my HTC Desire it going to have to keep trooping on for a little while yet.

I think you should put in an official complaint. Tell them how much they've jerked you around. Not giving you an ETA and wasting your time.

I don't think Three have them in stock to be quite honest. I know Bhavv got one but I bet they only had a few.

Both me and Ladfromwales got ours on tuesday and we are both sending them back lol.

I got the return bag this morning, and went to the post office after DX secure failed at ringing the bell and left me a calling card for my expensive new cpu.

Ladfromwales sent me an email, which I cant respond to on my phone so I will try respond here asking what he needs to do to send it back after getting his return bag:

- Repackage phone as brand new
- Take pictures of it first incase it gets damaged in trannsit
- DONT SEND YOUR SIM CARD BACK! Destroy and bin it - cut through the gold square a few times.
- Keep the payg sim if you want it (mine is my source of all you can eat data now for £15 pm if I use up my 10 Gb on t mobile)
- Put the repacked phone in the return bag. I double wrapped mine in the delivery bag first, then put it in the return bag for extra cushioning.
- Take it to the post office, hand it in and get your reciept (remember its pre paid, the reciept has your tracking barcode)
- Go to your bank to cancel the direct debit (I'll do this tomorrow after my CPU arrives, or on saturday).

All done.

bhavv: How will they know it's my phone? There is nothing on the bag but the address to send it to, and a royal mail sticker with tracking number.

When I called to return on Tues, I was given a 7 digit number, and was told that I'd receive a returns form with the bag on which this number would go on. I was also told they wanted the SIM back, but cut up.

So along with the unopened sealed phone, what else goes in the bag or on the bag so they know it's mine?

Damn thing is mocking me, I so want to play with a Nexus. Having reordered from o2, it's out of stock! :(

Quick question guys:

Does the "notification pull down menu" group things together or does it show each item?
For example; if I had 3 text messages from different people and 2 emails from different people does it show them all or group them by category?

I'm hoping it doesn't group and shows each one!

Seriously? Do you not get e-mails or something? My notification bar would drop off the screen if it listed every e-mail I had... thank goodness, no, it groups e-mails for each account.

Text messages are separate I think, conversation-wise anyway (new notification for each person)

So, so far so good. A 22 minute call, about 25-30 texts in that time, some GTalk, light browsing, a youtube HD video and a bit of music. I also was in a poor signal area for a bit so it might have put extra strain on it. I am also running WiFi on at all times, and am using only 2G as there is no 3G anywhere near me. My account sync is on at all times, and I actually spent most of that hour with it on on google.com/contacts and the SyncMyPics app updating my contacts properly so that now EVERY contact has a picture with it. I also pulled in about 12-15 emails to my Gmail, Yahoo app, and the generic email app. So not bad, and it seems better than it has felt the last few night. I will keep it going until I go to bed (Probably not until 5-6am, late night tonight) to see how she does.

Oh, they told me there would be a returns for as well but there wasnt - just a letter and returns bag!

But I included the original bag with my name and address, I'll have to call them tomorrow now.

hang on, I'll switch the PC on and upload a picture of the letter.

Here:

There was no form to fill in, just that letter and the returns bag!

The number they gave me for reference was meant to have been written on a form that I never got. I'll have to ring them tomorrow.

Also after destroying and binning the sim card, seal up its envelope which contains your number and send that back too. Basically return everything but the two sim cards (destroy contract sim, keep payg sim).

Also maybe write a letter with your returns number or something, I'll have to ring them instead.

You have 14 days from the day you get the returns bag to sort it out, so I should be ok as my bag came today and I posted it.

Yep I had that same letter and bag.

I'll send them back the phone in it's sealed box. Will take some pics of the box for security before it goes. Will also send the pack the pay monthly SIM come in, minus the SIM, which has already been cut up. I'll write the returns number somewhere too :)

I can't help noticing the bag my Three phone, ordered from three.co.uk, on the 'from' part, has a sticker which says 'DSL', under which is printed Phones4U, on the bag! Are Phones4U dealing with sending out three.co.uk phones?
