looking for a nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti

I'm selling an 'as new' 560Ti Asus TOP (i.e. factory overclocked edition) in the member's market:

@robfosters: the 560Ti will let you play with all settings on ultra but you will have to use FXAA instead of MSAA. I have the same CPU as you but it's at stock speeds (i.e. 2.4Ghz) and I get 50fps minimum on the campaign, everything on ultra except MSAA, which is fine by me because the difference between that and FXAA is unnoticable. On multiplayer (especially a 64 man server) that will drop, but you should always be able to maintain good playable frame rates.

All 560ti's are essentially the same card - the only differences are largely the factory overclock applied and the cooling solution applied such as the ASUS Direct CU or the EVGA cards. In terms of overclocking, most cards will overclock to a decent degree and it is only when there is a good custom cooling solution such as the DirectCU, then you have more room to overclock further while keeping temps in check.

560ti should be able to run 1650 x 1050 no problem, but I would recommend you wait a week as there are new models of the 560ti coming out which closes the gap on the 570 performance whilst holding the same price point.

That card is due to come out at the original price of the 560Ti which is around £200, plus it's not yet clear how OC'able it is. The current 560Ti overclocks extremely well because it runs on G114 unlike the new 448 core Ti (which is on G110).

Yes the 560ti 448. Whilst it's not clear how OCable it is, it should perform better still than a 560ti so while core clock might be less OCable, it's performance should match if not exceed the 560ti overclocked. It also will support tri-sli so will offer more versatility than a 560ti.

An overclocked 560Ti can already match or even beat a 570. If this new 560Ti 448 doesn't overclock well it will not beat an OC'd regular 560Ti.

That requires at least a core clock of 1ghz roughly from what I've read. Which is only with a small minority of cards. The core improvements in the 448and extra cluster of shaders will mean that it should perform just below a 570, couple this with a 100mhz OC and you've got a stock 570.

I know the Asus DCII cards and the Gigabyte cards are supposed to be fairly easy to get up to 1000MHz or just below that, reaching 570 at stock. I would assume the MSI TF cards can do that too.

This new 560 should perform just below a 570 given that they are basically just 570s which didn't make the grade at production, but the the GF110 runs a fair bit hotter than the GF114 so I'm a bit sceptical about it's OC potential at this point. However, we'll soon see.

Yeah, would be interesting to see what this new card brings to the GPU market =] might buy three depending ha

Three of those would be beastly!

Yeah, wondering that they could be pretty powerful depending on driver scaling really. Should cost about £570 and offer performance somewhere greater than SLI 570 and maybe a bit below 580 SLI?

All good points that people have made but also consider waiting untill monday when the 560ti 448 core card arrives may be worth a look before you decide.:)
