HELP!!!
I was on last night, and couldn't resist a visit to the Nether. I wandered about for a while and got quite far from the portal to the real world. Before I quit for the evening, I thought I'd give /spawn a try to see if that would take me home. Unfortunately it took me somewhere still in the nether, but underground surrounded by netherrack :( :rolleyes: (rolleyes directed at myself!). I had a quick dig about but I'm surrounded on all sides so I can't see where I am. Is there anyway I can get back to a portal or the real world, or will someone need to lend me 10 blocks of obsidian and a flint to create one to get home????

Use /tp playername to teleport to another player. One of the admins will sort out the nether /spawn issue shortly.

Hahaha, when I got stuck there I went forwards and found stairs going up. Try digging upwardds?
 
I did make some stairs that went into the nether spawn area (you can see them from the portal), someones probably been griefing the nether spawn :p

I should have explained that my player is partially sighted, and started to panic ;). Thanks for all the replies, I will look for the stairs this evening (or else I'll /tp to someone) :).

Bit hard to see but that's dosan's ender egg display case :)
 
Not that difficult to find arrows, you can make a mob farm, which if you disable a skeleton monster spawner, and build the required factory around it, you can have pretty much unlimited arrows. And if you make them fall 23 blocks, you can kill them with one punch with something. Giving you an xp farm too.

Frenchtart/ other admin. is it possible i can get some of my lost stuff back that the dragon disposed of. 10 iron ingot and 64 wood. Wood to try and rebuild half of my house so i dont need to spend hours chopping again and ymthe iron was in 2 furnaces that vanished. Took me a while to mine the iron ore.
Dont think its too much to ask, at least there aremore cows and stuff now too, before i was ready to teleport to my house to die of starvation

You won't die of starvation, only go down to 5 hearts/life blobs.
 
Is there a good chance of the recommended build arriving this weekend you think? :D

Also, no one responded to my last question...

When the 1.0 server is up - Is it completely new? Or are there buildings already on it?
 
It will be a completely new and fresh land. Old builds may be moved over from the 1.7 map after a while to give people a chance to explore and experience a new world.
