Well im impressed with my intial test.

I dont want to play too much as I will start afresh when it all goes live in december.

For people waiting, its worth it. Hope the games graphics come up abit.

Did they say the beta char will be deleted?
Did they also say that you will need to unistall the beta install and install from disc (when it arrives)?
 
I just want a few hours to test it out and see if it's for me, as an old WoW player that got bored i'm hoping this is up to the same standards as WoW while different enough to interest me.

fingers crossed.

Also, any idea on monthly cost to play?
 
I'm a level 4 Jedi Knight at the moment on a US server, couldn't be bothered waiting in the Eng. server queue.

Only thing I don't like so far is that you can't turn off sticky targeting, can you?

I can't enable AA either, any reason?

It's great other than that. Impressed. :)
 
Position 1215. Going down at about 10 a minute, so only 2 hours to wait...

Any better servers to try than the English one?
Although my g/f joined this one for me (over an hour ago) whilst I was at work - I don't want to leave it now!
 
Played for about an hour with a friend. Did a few quests. Seems solid few bugs and one major one going off right now. Cant get back into the game at all. Stook at the loading screen just before the server list.

Was impressed though with the amount of time i played.

i cant turn on aa either but it looks like i have AA already so maybe my graphics card settings are forcing it :S
 
When it comes to creating a character am i right in assuming this is done when i enter a server? as i dont have one and spotted nothing about making one on the menu. Otherwise i am Qing in vain :(
 
I for one am not impressed. The game has no feel to it, just more of the same old kill this, kill that, collect this, talk to him, oh wow a level etc etc. Didn't really like the graphics either, they aren't even that good yet the game stutters. Dosen't seem like the wow killer I wanted

My g/f entered me into the "queue" - I doubt she would have got past any character creation screen if there was one before-hand.

Haha - what did you expect? What kind of missions would you like then?

They disabled it a couple of builds ago for some reason, you can enable it via the ini though.

users/username/AppData/Local/SWTOR/betatest/settings and open the client_settings.ini

Add this line in:
AntiAliasingLevel = 4
