**The Official Nokia Lumia 800 Thread***

When I was playing with it ( a few hours worth),my test is to browse to forums, and yes thte work prediction was very good, in fact you get that red line squiggle under words like a normal browser so you can click back and select the recomended word. Liked its style very much.

have you found a way to make text on forums smaller ? like you look on ocuk forums and threads are written with big font while columns next to it with small...

cant find a way around it...

I think it shows that the likes of Samsung/HTC are missing out on a lot of customers by not offering a premium <4 inch phone. All the focus seems to be on their 4.3+ phones.

There is a lot of love for the Cyan Lumia but I wonder will it look as attractive in a black case that most people will end up buying? :p

lol. you fail

twice a day?? that can surely be covered under warranty

My GF's Lumia battery is doing really good.

may I ask where did you GF buy it from?

Apparently there are a lot of users on the Nokia Support forums that have been facing the same problem, and we are thinking we might have received a bad batch of Lumias.

Have been advised by Nokia Care to ask for a replacement, but I have a feeling that my replacement might be part of the same batch as it's the same store in such short period.

Realy like the thought of this phone, my orange contract is up soon do i may see what sort of deal i can get through retentions and get one for my wife.

any one has a problem with sync gmail with windows mobile ?? I have : attention required...

Had a play with the Lumia 800 today, really did seem like a lovely piece of kit. If Nokia continue putting out devices like this by the time I upgrade in September of next year then I will seriously consider one as an upgrade from my iPhone 4

It's no wonder the blue ones are in such short supply. Not even I can get hold of one. They are as rare as rocking horse ****.

I've decided I'm going to get one after looking at the S2/Arc S/Lumia, the pictures do look very good and the dedicated camera button with camera unlock is really appealing towards me.

I want Cyan though so I'm going to join the queue :D.

also, here's some pictures taken on the lumia, they're very compared to what others I've seen! video's seem very smooth also, the audio quality doesn't sound the best though.

one nice photo which picks up the detail in artificial lighting, I think people are being over subjective about the camera to be honest.

Now that I have my own Lumia, am not sure if I want to keep it...I still have 7 days to return it back to tmobile..

on top of that, now with new contract I have only 'normal' packet for internet when in past I had 3gb one for extra £5.
And I have noticed straight away it is slower...much slower...my GF hs o2 and internet is flying on lumia...

Ah, I believe that T Mob dont give you HSDPA speeds unless you are on the 3 Gb or 10 Gb plans.

Mine runs at around 800-1500 kbps normally.

T-mobile limits HSDPA to 1.8mbps on all it's internal plans as far as I'm aware, even if you upgrade the bandwidth.

They also limit contracts via third parties to 384kbps.

Had my Lumia since Thursday and I'm really enjoying it.

In terms of people talking about the camera, the video recording seems great off the bat but the still camera needs more user tweaking, I really need to test it out more though.

I will call tmobile and ask for explanation and to increase speed to how I had it in the past.
If not, Im sending mobile back and will revert to old contract and maybe even cancel it and go somewhere else.

ok,guy on the phone was not able to help me with my speed problem, so Im sending Nokia Back and going back to my old plan...I think I will go for sim only from three - £15p/m 600min, 3000txt and 1gb internet.
