Had a really smooth and enjoyable beta but its ****** tonight for some reason. Client is buggy and laggy as hell where as up until this point had zero issues. :(

The ones in yellow i added so remove them if need be, default value for TextureAnisotropy is 2 also when texture is set to high in game for some reason so you can change that back too.

Ok so I have played the game some more, up to level 10 now.

Story wise its very good. Im still not impressed with graphics / performance and the excessive running is still irritating but its grown on me a lot. Wheres the best place to pre order and do you gain anything from the LE / Collections edition?

Depends on when you pre-order I believe. If you pre-order you might not get a huge amount of early access although nobody knows anything for sure.

EDIT: Currently filling in a Survey I got sent by Bioware about the beta test and I notice that EA are unable to count to 10, not the best way to impress fans... :p
 
Have pre-ordered the collectors edition from the Italian branch of the rainforest place, seeing as Game were the only stockist in the uk and they have stopped their orders.
 
Anyone bought the Revan novel yet. I got my copy and read the prologue and tonight ill read a couple chapters. But if theres any KOTOR fans your finally gonna find out what happened to Revan:eek::D
 
I've stopped playing the beta now. I had another lil blast tonight in some warzones. Really do enjoy them :D

Personally I'm glad I pre-ordered the CE. Really enjoyed what I saw of the beta. Granted not at high level. Played enough to know I will enjoy the game. Will see what end game content is like. But none the less the stories were good. PvP was good fun. Overally bring on the 20th. Or whenever the early access starts... 7 days early I believe for CE or was it 10. Either good times :D

Early access is up to 5 days, depending on how quickly you entered your pre-order key. If you enter it now you may only get 1 or 2 days early access.
 
I'm trying to be a "good" Jedi but going darkside is so much more fun. Went all darkside near the end of the prolouge to get jiggy with a twi'lek :p

But that I admitted it to my master like a good little Jedi and got some light points back :D

edit: Jedi knight opener quests are great! Got to the end and building on my last relationship with the twi'lek I got jiggy with went mental when she betrayed me and killed her brother and mates :D really, really fun and engaging chain.

That has to be the worst scheme (almost illegal) I have ever heard off.

If I'm parting with £45 for a pre-order I want the same as the man before me. Otherwise they might as well say £45 gets 5 days, £44 gets 4 days and so on.

Quote from SWTOR Pre-Order FAQ "Pre-ordering also ensures that you may be granted Early Game Access before the Game’s official release". Wow, I'm definitely pre-ordering now so that I may, or may not, get early access.

Game Companies really are taking the p£$s nowadays.

As it happens I have pre-ordered, just because I always do and cant be bothered hoping the post man will turn up on time.
