I was planning on using mayhems premixed liquid fir my first wc build - however it was pointed out that premixed in general clog up systems etc

I dont know if that is true

Has anyone any problems using it or any advice ??

iv had no problems with mine, i did also read that but so far so good tho i am due a cpu block clean as i can see fluff but im not sure where that is comin from, maybe little parts of dust when getting rid of bubbles but no clogs as of yet, tho itis starting to stain me Res recently

Clogging up isnt as much an issue these days as the staining, and the fact normal distilled/deionised is cooler ;)

No it doesn't clog up systems. some people like to think they know what they are talking about and forget to say they added other rubbish or never bothered cleaning there loop for 3 years +

Thanks for clearing that up mlwood. Any comments on the staining and my findings on normal distilled being cooler than premixed? ta. btw - that was EC6 I tested against no mayhems ;)

Just bought some of your blood red uv. Thanks for the reassurance, was a bit worried about the masses of negative opinions floating about. Have to admit i have just come accross your sticky and has cleared it up. Suppose there are still a lot of crap products out there. Seems fesser 1 is highly rated yet of poor quality. :s

I'm pretty sure someone has been running mayhems for like 3 years or something daft and there's no breakdown, dying or clogging.

Ek doesnt make dyes. lol.

All dyes stain you cannot avoid it . even our do stain sorry to say. It just doesn't clog with out a reason and its all ways the wrong thing that gets blamed.

Its all down to your personal preference. As for whats better for performance cooling there is no doubt in my mind plain old Ultra Pure is the best. then Pastel nano fluid is a close second (on the higher end of the scale), followed by X1 (im talking my own products only). Some people have found improvements with Aurora but in my own testing i never found this my self.

I dont publish my own results on my findings as we try to let you lot make up you own minds.

Staining is a PITA for me I don't like changing tubing :( so I just distilled + kill coil and get coloured tubing and the right lighting in my case for my desired effect.

since when . they have never manufactured a dye that i have seen. In fact they dont even manufacturer a coolant same of Thermochill, Feser, Primochill, Phobya ect ect dont. They are done by external companies and then ek and tc both just add there labels. I know this because i know the companies they both deal with.

We are the only company that actually take all the raw chemicals and physically make our own premixed liquids from the ground up. They simply walk in or phone up and say ill have 1000 Ltrs of this colour please. Then its bottled for them and there labels are added. They have hardly any involvement in the press what so ever.

Apparently feser makes floaters.

Sadly it does - but only if you don't clean out your loop for a year. I had Feser One UV Blue / Clear in my loop - it was a fantastic tool to spot leaks - with a UV light it was like something out of CSI. Unfortunately it turned cloudy after a while (~9 months) and I assumed it was the clear section of tubing ageing but unfortunately not. Since draining my loop everything has a fine layer of white powder on it. It hasn't appeared to clog anything which is the most important but running warm water through the loop for two hours hasn't shifted all of it.
I think it's a toothbrush job to make it sparkle again. :(

noi think once your tube has the white on it then thats the end of it! few of my friends have used different clear tube and all had the same problem, im sure if you used distilled water you would still get some clouding! i would just get come coloured tube and have done with it! ither solid or slightly see through with maybe a UV Light if its UV active (most coloured is) and you then have coloured water! ;)

Feser One Red gave me 'fishpoo' in my loop. Had that within 6 months of the build. I used to drain it and put it thru a paper coffee filter.

In the end I ditched it, and washed all my kit using Vanish which is bloody marvellous at eating the stains.

I currently use distilled.
