Building a gaming pc £700 - £900

Need a new pc as my current one might as well be in a musem

I was hoping for an I7 cpu , but not sure about much else and would apperciate any help , or recommendations on graphics card and motherboards , anything else feel free to add .

any old sata hard drives and optical drive you can reuse? the hard drives are currently over priced.

do you need an os? want sli/xfire option?

mainly gaming the i2500k + 8gb + 6950/560ti/570 fits the bill.

Look at the game charts at the bottom. The Hyperthreading make little difference.

Some of the deals will change come Wednesday morning.

Such as the CPU/PSU/GFX

All the cables etc are present with the board and PSU, thermal; paste comes with the cooler.

A SSD is massively fast, RAID0 if thats what you are thinking will not be anywhere near as fast in both throughput (MB/SEC) and access times (ms)

Install the OS and a game or two on the SSD and use the HDD for storage
