Nearly 30% of Scotlands population was not born in Scotland, so it depends on how you view and class diversity to be honest..

Simples, most immigrants don't have it to well, so they live in the poorer neighbourhoods, use Public transport instead of cars, etc... As a result of this they happen to live in areas with more crime. Plus foreigners feel more comfortable with their own kind ( before anyone says I'm a racist, sometimes I feel more easily connected to other ''Polish Dutch'' people too).

In the NL, mainly Moroccans ( Half of the young population has had contact with police before the age of 22, ONE THIRD of this half 5 times or more) are seen worse than other immigrants, also Gipseys (half of the adult males have been convicted) are very distrusted, but somehow, those 2 groups, statistically, are more represented than others, like people from Turkey or Suriname, who generally don't pop up as much in crime stats. I think it's to do with the culture and the way kids are being brought up. I'm not sure.

Racism is one thing, facing the facts is another, there are groups who, statistically, are over-represented in crime stats compared to others, to **** off all black people or all Arabs is complete nonsense though, don't think they are really worse than Dutch ''tokkies'' or ''sjonnies'' ( chavs I guess from NL). Overall you can't put a tag on people because of where they come from, each individual is different, but obviously, some people start distrusting or hating others, if they read about some statistics like half the young ones having committed crimes before 22.

The media is guilty too though, if something bad happens its:
If a Dutch has done it: ''A guy shot this stabbed that bllablabla'' ''a drunk guy caused an accident'' ''a gang has been caught who stole cars''.
Otherwise: ''2 Moroccan guys have shot this stabbed that blablabla, a drunk Pole caused an accident, a Romanian gang has been caught to were stealing cars'' etc.

Emphasis on where they come from.

30% sounds about right. I had no knowledge of an exact figure, though. It's when towns and communities become so overrun that essentially the English language becomes minority. Which, is what I've heard from family who have moved south. They were also by no means Daily Mail reading, 'send them back' screamers!

Like I stated above but also because others countries and races have different ways of treating their peers. Take Eastern Europeans, Germans etc, we all know they aren't the friendliest of people? These are generalisations but we'd all agree it's a rule of thumb in a lot of cases. Cliques forming and so on.

If you're referring to my post above yours, that's not the case at all and I'd like to think if I emigrated I'd be accepted into another society and happily live amongst them by their rules. However, what I wouldn't like and don't agree with is the overthrowing of their societies, rules, languages and so fourth.

There should be diversity throughout the world.

Sounds like presumptions rather than generalisations to me, to be honest with you. That 30% was people not born here, but then our demographics for the asian and black migrants in contention are small. Yet, we still have significant turnover of population through immigration and emmigration. My nextdoor neighbour is married to a German, and she's a lovely woman who I saw working in the garden with a I love Scotland hoodie on the other day...

Some areas have specific issues, but most people get the inclusiveness here.

To be fair I think the women in the vid is drunk or on drugs, can't imagine someone being so daft and provocative when sober/clean.

Also surprised people didn't smack the hell out of her, but I guess that's because of the kid.
