[SOLVED] Is my GTX 470 broken

Video link:

[SOLVED] new psu worked a treat, thanks to anyone that helped

I've been using my GTX470 Twin Frozr 2 for around 9 month now and its recently started randomly dieing on me. It started happening about 2 weeks ago after working flawlessly for so long. Whenever I play a game the system will suddenly lock up after around 10 minutes and my screen will go off and system will restart itself. Also if I go to watch any form of video online or file on my computer the screen pauses and sound continues for a few seconds then computer restarts. The video problems are consistent every time but game problem is intermittent. I have tried a fresh reinstall of windows 7 64bit but problem still occurs. Also tried removing nvidia HD audio driver and the realtek lan drivers as they are meant to be both things that can cause lock-ups. I have tried my zotac 9800GTX+ in my computer and it worked flawlessly so I know there is nothing wrong with any of my other components. Have also did a memtest and the ram is working perfectly.

Full system spec:
Core i7 860
corsair h50 cooler
Gigabyte P55-US3l Rev 2.0 motherboard
4gb Corsair Dominator Ram
640gb Samsung spinpoint hdd
MSI GTX470 Twin Frozr II
850 watt ezcool psu

forgot to update original post but found out the cable for my 6 pins was melted into the psu so will be replacing it as i'm guessing its potentially dangerous. curredntly swapped it over to molex to 6 pins but dont think it gets adequate power from them

will see how it fares after upgrade

EZ Cool power supplies are cheap crap, get a decent 500w+ unit from Corsair, Be Quiet, Antec or a similar well known company.

The burnt out wire would be a huge indicator that they're not trustworthy enough to use in a high power gaming machine.

Seems a bit much when you can have a XFX Pro (750/850w) or even a XFX XXX edition PSU (750w) from ocuk

bought the coolermaster from my local shop and computer now fully working

wanted to buy from close to my house because i needed it today and cm does more watts on 12v rail
