Iran protesters storm UK embassy in Tehran

Some experts are giving iran an eta of 6-12 months before this happens, depending on the supply of componants from their russian and chinese allies. Iran is not without big strong political friends.
The UK should be careful, we won't have any aircraft carriers until 2020 or so and our friends across the pond cannot exactly be called reliable...
One thing that isn't getting much discussion is what Israel may be planning to deal with Iran, lets not forget that back in the eighties France supplied Iraq with a nuclear reactor but before it could be set up and running Israel launched a surprise air strike on it killing ten Iraqis and a French contractor, Israel's justification for this was that they claimed Iraq may have used it to produce weapons and they were acting in self defence (the French reactor was designed to be unsuitable for making bombs).

Neither the US nor the UK will invade Iran.

I did think this also to a degree but think its crazy when will "we" the human race figure out to live in peace as everyone really wants minus the crazy people.
We could learn a thing or two from the Americans in WW2 and sit WW3 out for the first couple of years build up a good Infrastructure and sell weapons to all those involved and then jump in at the end would solve the recession maybe

Cause they could invade but then they would grind to a horrible halt, lose countless lives, not fulfill their objectives, get the Straits of Hormuz closed, allow China to supply Iran with carrier destroying missiles for live testing purposes, unite the whole region against them, occupy that many forces China could go Hello Taiwan Nationalistic China coming back home, etc

Given how WW3 would be fought there would be no one to sell arms too and we would be a glowing crater anyway.

I think basically the risk would be setting in motion more than a war with Iran it could fall into a world war like a crazy domino affect.

Why would we want to "invade" them?
The absolute worst that will happen in the foreseeable is tactical air strikes on their nuke bases. The USA has been developing bombs for this precise eventuality, for years.

China is nothing without the rest of the world though - they're a manufacturing export dependant country. If everyone except russia and iran stops using them to manufacture products and stops buying their produce they'll run out of money quicker than you can say 'Welcome to schitty wok, take order pwease?'.
