Suppose people getting stuck with this issue could install Volume Locker from the market.
It'll lock all sounds iirc, though I've only used it in the past to lock ringer notification and alarm volumes.
 
Why wouldn't it? It pops up when the volume changes, requiring you to actively click the popup on screen, or tap the notification to action the change.

I used to use it on a phone where the volume keys get pressed accidentally all the time, and it'd set the volumes back to where they should be.

I didn't know adout LABS :( so thanks for the heads up and the back button thing (also didn't know about) is cool :cool:
LABS and the back button also work on my Galaxy tab 10.1 so doubly pleased :D

Is there anything else I'm missing?

I think I'll hold off on the update until some others have tested it ..... im on 3 so I'm not directly affected anyway.
 
Good news for anyone waiting for one from handtec, looks like they are starting to ship handtec :D:D can't wait till tomorrow now, it's like christmas has come early :cool:
 
I got fedup with the constant delays. Ok not their fault but a pita nonetheless.

I got a refund and walked into p4u, had mine since saturday and tis lovely.

I know what you mean about delays, I've had it a few times in the past with handtech and mobilefun, to be honest I couldn't be assed to trapes around the shops trying to find one in stock, plus I only decided I would defo be getting one last week. Glad to hear your loving yours, I can't wait till tomorrow, thank god for public sector strikes, day off to wait in for it :D :D

Affordablemobiles? Why is it dodgy. I've used it before.
