GTX 560Ti 448 benchmarks

Problem is without looking hard at all you can get a 570 in the £235region.
The 560Ti 1GB@ 150 is the right price point,
the 560ti 2Gb (should be)@ 175
and then finaly the 565Ti (I have renamed it for clarity) (should be)@ £200

Obviously variation in their brand dependant, not this BS we are looking at atm of some std 565Ti's costing more then 570GTX

Slightly off topic but does the 570 OC much? I am sure this has been done to death but just looking at a quick response.

OCs very well. From everything I've seen, around 15%. I saw a Gigabyte OC'd to beyond 900MHz which was actually beating out a stock 580 in BF3 (although of course the 580 can also be OC'd to re-establish a significant lead).

Thanks for that. At the price difference and as my wife wants to buy me a chrimbo pressie this is looking a favourable option.

Thinking of getting one myself. Need something which will handle BF3 but I don't fancy going the SLI route or waiting god-knows-how-long for the 7-series ATI cards :s

570 seems the most logical choice, especially if you shop around. If you find a good deal, let me know!

Right, so looking at that review, the 448 core 560 gives 14% better performance than the old 560, on average. For that to be reflected in price this new 448 needs to be £171, considering that you can get a quality 560 Ti 384 for £150...

But it's on sale for £240? No thanks...

What's the point in buying this card when you can get a proper 570 for a few quid more, and when you consider that this version is on a limited run of 10,000, which means it will be very difficult to get a second hand one down the road if you're thinking of going SLI? (Also bear in mind that this isn't SLI'able with either the 560Ti 384 or the 570).

This is too funny ... BF3 was benchmarked at ultra vs the 1GB 560ti as it's known that at ultra the 1GB card is not enough and as OC advertise the 2GB card is quicker. What a load of marketing BS.... Feel sorry for OCUK for having to pimp these as a good deal when standard 560ti with an OC with probably be within a squirt of an overclocked 448.

Nice way to shift a lot of old junk while the public think they are getting a deal.... good old Nvidia.
