New updated order for parts

I changed the RAM from 8GB Vengeance to 16GB Kingston and the CPU cooler from an Corsair A50 to a Gelid GX7.

What do you think guys?

Yeah! It would be helpful to know what you budget and uses are first!

Aswell as the prices of the spec you have compiled.

Unless you are doing heavy video encoding and use 3DS Max a lot i see no point in having an i7 and 16GB RAM.

Looks like good components.

Not sure about the cooler, doesn't have fantastic reviews but will do the trick.

iirc the elite 430 doesn't have an exhaust fan, that would be the first thing I'd add.

I have 8GB of that ram and have no issues.

I've read the Asus mobos have problems. Fingers crossed.

I would have picked up MX4 over Silver 5.

Not much to grudge about the rest. Video card is great, PSU adequate (even SLI imo), everyone knows how good the CPU is, and I have two Samsung F3 and no issues

All mobos can have problems, just depends how lucky you get aha

I've already ordered it. I budgeted for £900, it cost just over. I phoned up to amend my order. I've already had feedback on all the other components.

looks good to me but like somebody already said buy a couple of 120mm fans as the 430 only has one (intake by hdd's)

I'm sure the AS5 will do the job, but the MX4 is generally considered a bit better. I've had good experience with it, it's electrically non-conductive, easy to apply and does a great job. I'm not even sure you will need to apply AS5, the cooler may come with pre-applied paste that should work just fine. You can always clean it up and re-apply of course.
