who goes to the main bbc website any way? what do you do on the homepage? surely most just go straight to the section they want e.g. news, iplayer etc?

its starting to look like windows page experience or what ever they are calling it!

i dont like it as I like having everything infront of me. a lot of people like the widget form so they dont get overwelmed.

Both that and the bbc site just look too cluttered and i just dont think either are as clear and easy to use.

The new site is so much fail it's beyond wrods.

For starters, it forces you to scroll sideways unless you have a monitor with a minimum resolution of 1366 wide - That alone is major facepalm.

Which intern had this bright idea I wonder. They need a slap.

If they change iPlayer like this then I will not be pleased.

LOLOLOLOL, it would appear that at some point I must have used CTRL+ to zoom in and it had made the fonts bigger, since Firefox remembers zoom settings on a per site basis....

Not so bad now I guess after CTRL+0 ;o

Wow, I just looked at it and cant believe how much worse it looks.

As someone else mentioned, I also much prefer Al Jazeera now for my news.

Too much going on, too cluttered. Weather does look better though.
