If its CS:S with a few tweaks etc and more like 1.6 then this will be heaven....im willing to commit hour after hour to this game and will be great to get the old uni team back together for some matches

Me too! After seeing the gameplay videos few months back, I'm quite sceptical about it atm I dont know if I will enjoy

When I first started CS and CSS that was the ONLY map i played i reckon a good 2 years just on office.

I never really got into CSS for some reason, played a heck of a lot of CS, it was my first online FPS used to hang out on the Red Lion server some of the lads there taught me how to play

must be over 12 years ago now though!

That's even worse, that's getting into that whole COD territory with different development companies...not a COD guy so don't know the details

From what I have seen, this is just CS:S with some new skins and weapons.

I hope it proves me wrong as it could benefit e-sports in general.

If it's anything at all like Source then this is a straight no for me. I grew up on the early versions of CS, playing competitively, Source and the like doesn't even come close.

Pretty sure Na'Vi and fnatic both said it was terrible after the show match.

I was given access to the Source beta so hopefully i'll be able to give this a shot too.
