Not just that. The way she did it. She disturbed the peace, she swore on a tram full of children. She told people to go back to where they came from. All those things put together and i think it was certainly right to arrest her.

Prison isn't the best option IMO. Parenting courses, a fine and disciplinary of some sort would be the minimum IMO

I hate it when I see people post about how they go into towns and they see non white people and then start forming arguments about how immigration is a huge problem, etc.

That's an unbelievably ignorant thing to do. You simply don't know whether those people are immigrants or not. All the people you see on the street, any one of them could be an immigrant, or they could be born here. Seeing as you haven't asked each person individually, to go about judging them all like that is ignorant.

That's what this woman did. Absolute tool.
 
30% of Scotland's population was not born in Scotland.

I don't feel scared or pushed out, I feel as Scottish as I ever have. If people want to move here and call themself Scottish it makes me feel proud, their ethnicity race creed or colour is irrelevent.

This is the thing, racists come it with the angle of non-Brits being the problem, when it is very likely that the majority of the "non-Brits" they think they see are indeed Brits, and they are actually just targeting them based on skin colour, a sort of self-fulfilling proof of their racism.

I would not like to be subject to racism (stupid comment, who would?) but it would annoy me if someone told me to go back to my own country. If I am treated as a forgeigner in this country, the one that I was born in and live in, then I will be treated as a foreigner everywhere I go :(

I'm white and I speak English, so no one ever tells me to go back to where I came from, even though it is deepest darkest Africa.

I don't think I am, Scotland has for a very long time had very active immigration and emmigration. I would add I'm not talking ethnic minorities or asian groups, they are of course still a minority of a few percent.

I've lived in Crawley for the past 7 years or so, agree it's not the nicest place in the world. But it's like everywhere, it has nice parts and not so nice parts. The pregnancy part, well, I can't say I've noticed. :D
