You're not allowed to boast about your C team beating my A team. Alves and Silva cost more than my entire team put together! Including Ibra!
 
I got bored of building a team up from Bronze because Fifa matchmaking sucks; it put my 2 star rated, 47 team chemistry against 100 chem English Silvers and MLS Bronze/ Silvers.

I think it only sucks if you don't use it properly, you're not meant to play through the middle, it's all about the width (lol) of the RW and LW. I've played about 10 matches with the team now and the majority of my goals have come from a counter attack. Usually I'll steal the ball with the LB or RB, pass it to the centre and then chip a ball or thread a through ball to either the LW or RW. If they break fast enough you can get a guaranteed goal by crossing it across the box from one wing to the other, it's normally a tap in or a header every time. Elia, Krasic, Lavezzi and to a lesser extent Vucinic are all very good at beating the LB and RB and then storming ahead.

You're right when you say the CM's in my squad don't have much pace though. Pirlo is fairly slow but his dribbling is decent, Vidal has a bit of pace though, IF Nocerino isn't slow and then I'm rotating at the moment between De Rossi, Marchisio and Pepe who all have enough pace to get past people and storm ahead. It really depends on how you use the formation though, playing through the middle isn't really the strongpoint and the focus of your attacks should be trying to get the ball quickly down the wings and then either cutting inside or crossing.

You CAN play through the middle, but only if your opponent is crap. It's a three way competition between Quagliarella, Matri and Jovetic for the starting ST slot in my team, then I just bring on Luca Toni if I need a stronger, more physical target man. Think I'll check the auctions about 3am and see if I can pick up a cheap IF Pepe. They were about 30,000 earlier, surely I can get him for less and then play him at CM or RB when needed. Definitely wouldn't waste him at RW though, Krasic is monstrous there for me and with backups like Elia and Lavezzi I don't need another, though Lavezzi doesn't particularly do it for me, he seems to be one of those slow fast players and I don't have much time for those.

Lavezzi LW and Elia as LCM and you won't go far wrong, but honestly, Lavezzi has been my idol player in FUT since getting his IF last year, whether you're trying to weave him round people, skill (5* Style!) around people, or run in a line down the flank, he works!

In other news, I can honestly say, as much as I will get called an idiot for saying so...I honestly prefer Aimar over Messi, bought him in when I flogged Messi on and I just like him, I know I made all the "WHO?" comments when Dan had him, but I take it all back, he's had some moments of sheer genius and been an amazing link up between Higuain, Di Maria & Lavezzi!

PS: Roband, I didn't mention your A team...you did :)

When i say my team is my C team, I don't mean in order of class/preference, all 3 teams stand out in their own ways!
 
I'm sorry I disagree with your assessment of Lavezzi, he's dire, DIRE I tell you. :p

Gonna sell him tomorrow and use the coins for something else, just not feeling him at all and for some reason whenever I try and outpace a right back he just seems to run alongside them for what seems like an age. I've even tried bringing him on at the 60 minute mark and it's like he's running through wet cement. Elia seems far quicker even though I think they're about the same. :(
 
i wish lavezzi was a CAM or ST, like he was last year, then i could use him again this year.

he was my best player as everyone will testify to in the ps3 tourney, when my team had possession 9 times out of 10 the ball would be at lavezzi's feet.

im assuming they would not have changed him much from last year, so he is probably a beast this year too, last year he was less than 10K too, complete bargain.

bargains i have found this year to be Menez, Cisse, in fact all of Ligue 1 is a bargain, Stekelenburg, Hart, Kolo Toure, Giovinco, Abate, Walker, Dede, Vidal, Dzeko.

Menez and Cisse get special shout outs though because they are seriously amazing for their value. im thinking of making a hybrid as my next project.

Absolute ****'s are trying to price fix Gary Hooper. Suddenly the 27k I wasn't willing to pay earlier looks pretty good now. :(

edit: Just bought the only 4-4-2 IF Gary Hooper on the market. :D

Need to get Cambiasso (who will replace Hernanes), and need a CF to replace Robinho as he's cack, possibly Zarate or maybe Sneijder. If I like this team then I will also buy Di Natale as well.

Is it normal for IF's to have different squad numbers? Normal Hooper is 88, IF Hooper is 2.

Sounds pretty good. I'll be on when I get in from work about half 7, should be on again this evening as well so I'll catch you whenever and I can try and put that defence to the sword. :p

Ahahaha, I just had the most hilarious set of games ever.

I beat this guy 4-2, close game. I go to play again and it's a rematch, he edges it 1-0. I'm a little sad about the loss so I keep searching to be placed against him again. It took 5/6 attempts but I finally got him. :D 0-0 and he ends it as a draw. :mad: I search again and get him for the fourth game in a row. I beat him 4-3. I considered stopping at this point, but I couldn't help myself. I search again and beat him 2-1. :D:cool:

I sent him a ggs message after but he didn't reply. :(
