Its time for the BBC to sack Clarkson?

I hate him,

He's offensive ,unfunny and out of touch with reality.

Last night on The One Show Clarkson stated about the public sector strikes "I'd have them all shot. I would take them outside and execute them in front of their families."

"I mean, how dare they go on strike when they've got these gilt-edged pensions that are going to be guaranteed while the rest of us have to work for a living."


So I pay my licence fee for Clarkson to plug his DVD and denounce public sector workers? The Guy needs to be sacked from the BBC. It's time the BBC axed him. I wouldn't pay someone in the street to insult me so why am I forced into paying for Clarkson?
 
I watched it. Not worth sacking him as he brings joy to those unfortunates that enjoy combustion engines too much.

He seems a bit amateurish live and he is entitled to his opinions and the 0.1% of others that agree with him.
 
He's very good on top gear IMO, although most of the other stuff he does is pretty bad. And he can go over the top sometimes.

Also the BBC must get a lot of money from other channels running top gear, and theres no way it would be anywhere near as popular without Clarkson. So in a strange sorta way he pays for himself ;)
 
I don't mind him.I don't really watch much telly but Top Gear is probably the best show on the BBC apart from the odd wildlife programmes and what not
 
I find the guy a bit opinionated and smug at times, it's the little niche that lets keeps the pay slips coming and lets him remain a 'tv personality'.

I might chuckle at the odd comment here or there but i wouldn't want to get to know the guy.

The mere fact he's trying to be shocking for shocking sake makes it laughable...

"OOOH Clarkson is awsome...cause he says shocking things..."

Its people like this who like clarkson....Clearly uneducated petrol heads
 
He's an idiot, but I don't think he should be fired.

As soon as he made his indignant remark about "the rest of us" having to "actually WORK FOR A LIVING!", I exercised my freedom to do what I choose, and turned the TV off. Simples.

Without going into exactly what I think of the throngs of mindless idiots readily hopping on the "them and us" bandwagon regarding the strikes, it should be known that my wife is a secondary teacher who works her goddamn ass off each and every day and night in a job that you couldn't pay me enough to even consider. As it stands, she isn't paid enough for what she has to do and put up with in my opinion, and that berk Clarkson wouldn't know a day's honest toil if it bit him in his rectum.
