The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

The game is fine for me since the patch. I will also mention that the patch feels like it has improved performance for me inside dungeons and cities, but it could be a placebo effect so not sure. I played quite a bit last night doing some of the thieve guild quests, really enjoying them even though i have trouble sneaking about as a orc warrior lol. 55 hours in and im lvl 23!
 
I haven't noticed any problems with the patch. Played it for a few hours and not had any crashes or anything.

I have taken the Nvidia ambient occlusion off as it was giving a weird shimmering effect on buildings and distant objects. Not sure if this is down to adjusting shadows in the ini though.
 
Well i am totally lost now, if anyone has any suggestions please, the game is unplayable now, one of the few keys that can't be configured (have no idea why they do this on pc games) just won't work, it's the "R" key i am over encumbered and i can't drop anything or put stuff back into chests or body's lol.
 
Are the ebony mace and bow the strongest weapons in the game (excluding enchantments). I'm level 39 and have yet to come accross anything stronger. Haven't seen any Daedric weapons and obviously dragon weapons do not exist.
 
Just bought the house in Solitude. Lovely place, just need to furnish it up. The housecarl aint bad either :o:eek::p

Need to decide who to marry :o:p
 
Well, back in the box for me until the next patch. I'm getting constant CTD now, never had a single issue before in 35 hours of gaming. Now I get CTD when I fast travel and occasionally while walking around.

At least I'll have chance to complete The Witcher 2 :)

Never used it (does it do more than the marker does?) - tend to sell all spell's found as playing a sneaky archer character.

Nah, faffed around Dawnster a bit then fast travelled somewhere nearby the mountain in question.


I did find the Skyborn Alter, and was a fun trip up there passing a bunch of frost trolls - should this lead to the shrine...?

anyideas how to fix have turn off nvidia atmospheric crap and still happens every 20-30mins...

Yep, just learn it, cast it & hold down the cast button. Turn until you see a glowing trail - this points you in the direction of the direct route to your destination, so follow that direction till you need to cast it again & check.

Pretty handy.
