Its time for the BBC to sack Clarkson?

Young people don't understand loads. Shall we ban the news, as they don't understand the erupting volcano is in another country and get scared.

Why peddle emotion bull crud, male or female.

No he acted like he always does on a slot, that he was invited to.

Why do you remove all responsibility from the shows producers. They have a duty to ensure the content is suitable.

Why do you want someone sacked from an unrelated job, a job you yourself have said such comments are fine. Even though it is equally prime time broadcast which young kids watch. Can these kids suddenly understand, becuase they are topgear viewers?

"Whats execution Daddy? And why do I have to watch?"

Get a grip! You have no arguement whatsoever.

Brilliant comeback,
So parents can no longer explain jokes or fact from fiction or anything else.
Well in that case we better ban everything before 8pm on BBC1, seeing as you think it's acceptable on bbc2 at 8pm. Even though kids watch topgear.

A point that you have all failed to remark on is that JC has apologised himself...So even he deemed it wrong.

If he did it just to keep the peace then he seriously has no balls :p

2000 people have complained? Wonder how many of these bandwagon jumping ***** actually watched it? :o

His comments were meant as a joke and he's offered to apologise on TV if required to do so. Hope he gets a pay rise tbh.

No, he deemed it necessary due to the reaction and still worded it such away, that basically said anyone who took offensive is an idiot.

4700 complaints and how many viewers does the one show have, it's 4.4million. That's also after media and unions got involved. Shows who is in the minority doesn't it.

Again you miss the point.

They shouldn't have to when watching family programing

He sold out to keep his job...Watta Guy!

His job was never in question, as much as people like you wanted it to be

The minority have taken offence, which includes you. I'm sure if you could ask every single person in the country you would see more taking the comments in jest (and more importantly IN CONTEXT), or really not caring at all.

Over 5000

Student by any chance?

From 4.4million viewers.
Also only after media and unions got involved.

Major over reaction isn't it. Complaints as a perecentage. Next to nothing.

Look how he worded the apology. It was a apology for people who got offended.

Oh and another thing, on the one show to only promote his DVD.

Lets see, who asked who about what someone thought about the strikes.

No,

I have no problem at all.

But I don't want to listen to Swearing or offensive language and subject matter eating my spag bol with my children.

Did he swear? (I didn't see it).

I would imagine he made himself look like a fool more than anything, rather than being outrageously offensive. It would have been different if he had sat there in an SS uniform....

Tbh i'm more outraged that nurses, ambulance drivers are even allowed to strike surely putting lives at risk or atleast unnecessary suffering than some big mouth reeling in moaners on a tv show.
