Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

50/50 achievements. Boom! :-)

Need to pick up another game alongside MW3, any suggestions?
I actually thinking of picking up Sonic Generations. lol.

As for friends list, I don't give a damn who is on mine and if they are on it, you'd expect them to play with you, not against you!

it'll only become a problem when it fills up!! :D

I must say that I don;t enjoy playing against people I know on CoD, they always seem to play really cautiously and specifically try to kill me :(

I had a game with One shot the other night and he absolutely rinsed me, pretty immense player.

What game modes are you doing to tear through the rankings that quickly?

Since owning my PS3 I've only added 2 people, Finding people that play regularly & that actually want to be a Proper team mate is nigh on impossible. I have to say that just like my BF2 play I get on well with Randoms & if I don't or theres no team play I just find another server for the next round.

It never used to be like that on here, once upon a time you would get 10-12 players easily and fill both teams in private matches. That was before everyone became obsessed with ranking up on games for little more than logging time and social team games have become a thing of the past.

Which for me is sad because that was the best fun I had on the 360 by miles. There was never any rage and people enjoyed hunting each other down in revenge. Play a game and then re-mex the teams for balance, rinse and repeat.

Now people get the arse because you would be joining games and ruining their win stat or streak or KDR. I'm all for ranking if it went up and down or had some skill measure rather than I've played 24 days so i'm top prestige.

Edit, party chat has also killed the social element and banter you could have with randoms on xbox live. No one talks because they are usually in party chat. In the early days I made so many gaming 'friends' from playing with randoms. Lots are still on my FL. Not any more, I join a game alone and it's silence. I know there are massive pro's for the party system but for me the negatives out weigh the good :)

I agree somewhat, but playing with friends in the same party is awesome, what we used to do very recently on black ops, (more so if we were put up against a clan), is switch to game chat and get some banter going in the lobbies, it was hilarious!

It's a +1 if it's against americans too, both throwing the cliché insults at each other :p

I don't think it's party chat that's done that though, its the amount of annoying people who just scream or play music down their mic. I wouldn't be surprised if at least 90% of the people I play with now have their voice comms set to friends only because of this.

I don't care if Bevy or Oneshot join because they actually move around when playing, most of the people I get annoyed at are the ones who join the game just to sit in a corner and I'd rather not play the game having to check every single corner before entering a room or a different part of the map, it just slows down the game and ruins it for me.

I'd much rather play custom/private matches since GRAW, Halo 2/3 and Gears of War were some of the best times I had while playing online, but as you say since CoD4 came out people suddenly developed ADHD and feel the need to constantly unlock stuff to enjoy the game.

With **** all help from Activision or @CallOfDutyElite it seems the MW3>Youtube link is down. There are no new videos on 360codMW3 from about the same time that I stopped being able you upload to my own channel.

At the time no I didn't, your forum name isn't the same as your GT and it's changed since the last I played you regularly which was around MW2.

So I'll join session in your games and hide in corners with Heartbeat sensors and do nothing but shoot down your killstreaks and see how you like it then shall we? I'm sure you'll change your tune soon enough. If they play with you even a little they know what you're going to do, so they just sit in a corner and wait for you to walk past.

I've had people join with the sole purpose of killing me 1 time to end my killstreak and then leaving straight away, so you tell me whether or not if that's fun?

Well i'm not the sort of player.

A) i generally don't like to jump in uninvited to other peoples games and usually send a message first asking

and

B) i'm not vindictive enough to go hunting specifically to kill you and end your killstreaks.

I'll add you again next time i'm on if thats ok :)

Come on it was much more fun hearing some American sing soulja boy to Soulja to hear the ranting back ;)

Yeah that's what I think, I didn't even like gears 1 that much online but I found it so much more playable in private matches 4v4 (iirc) mixing and matching players. Of course everyone likes different challenges online but for me logging off after winning 10 games against some random is not half the fun of popping the head on someone you are having banter with and can continue to milk for all it's worth :)

I've just had a quick game to test out the lag compensation since my connection is playing up, it's gone from 20ms up to 125ms (so in game it will be even higher). I was on a constant 2 bar and my god the amount of times I was dropping people when I should have died was unreal :p I could hear them complaining when they were watching the killcam about how many bullets they put into me :D

I finished the game 20 kills, 10 deaths and that was me rushing which I never do, I didn't have the time to play my usual cautious/camping style so I had to rush in and get as many kills as possible. The compensation works really well for anybody with a bad connection, but they get such an advantage over anyone else that it felt cheap for just playing with this bad lag.

I wasn't untouchable by any means, but I should not end the game on a 2:1 ratio with a 200+ms ping :o

Well i'm not the sort of player...

I wasn't hiding offline from you it was from somebody else who isn't even from these forums and feel free to add me. I just reject any friend requests automatically because I get them all the time from randoms when I have a good game and they go 2 kills 18 deaths expecting me to be their best friend and carry them through games.
