Anti-piracy group BREIN is caught up in a huge copyright scandal in the Netherlands. A musician who composed a track for use at a local film festival later found it being used without permission in an anti-piracy campaign. He is now claiming at least a million euros for the unauthorised distribution of his work on DVDs. To make matters even worse, a board member of a royalty collection agency offered to to help the composer to recoup the money, but only if he received 33% of the loot.

This is hilarious to see BREIN get caught in the act. I for one hope he wins just to stop them putting those flipping anti piracy advertisements that you can't skip that actually make you want to pirate.

It's actually called hypocrisy.

It's things like this that really confuse me when it comes to some people's attitudes towards piracy on these forums, like a select bunch who actually want it to be criminalised which will only serve the purpose of increasing the number of people with criminal convictions with no beneficial purpose.
