EVGA GTX 570 Classified BIOS

If you manage to **** up a BIOS flash, do EVGA void warranty?

Even if you had a bad flash on a video card, all you would need to do is get a second graphics card that worked and then install also the borked card then reflash the borked card with the original BIOS file (which is very easy to backup or download).

There is nothing scary about flashing video cards or motherboards or any device that requires a BIOS or firmware update.

Just be safe if you are flashing any device to have the computer/device on a UPS if you have one, incase the power dies for any reason. Also if you can make sure to have the original BIOS/Firmware file that is on your device before you flash to a newer version or even an older version.

Also always wait for the tool that is updating your BIOS/Firmware to say it has finished before restarting the computer or the device (some can take what seems a very long time to finish, just wait for it to report it is done or if an error, DON'T turn the device or PC off and try to reflash it with the file again if it fails the flash again then try the original file that was on the device).

Remember, this is me you're talking to. Do you really think a BIOS flash will go smoothly?!

I'm on the brink of smapping my cards in two anyway so i'm going to try flshing the BIOS. I'd just like t make sure it doesn't void the warranty

How do I go about that?

POst in the watercooling section, im sure Rich or 7 will help you out. never tried this before
