Hello testers! This weekend’s test will end on 12/4 at 11:59pm CST (12/5 at 5:59 London, 6:59 Paris/Berlin). This will also mark the end of Game Testing for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.

Finding it tough playin solo as an IA on some of the side missions that are tagged as Heroic 2, 3 and 4. Even taking on one guy (some elite mandalorian captain i think it was) i got my medium-armored hide handed to me despite using everything i had as a lvl 16 IA.. Definetly for multiple people to take on.

I hope they do Maintenance once released at reasonable times and not times that suit the Americans during European prime times.

I don't mind so much at the moment as it's beta, but on release than would be unacceptable.

And the name kinda suggests you can't do them on your own so it seems a bit silly to try to attempt them on your own...

Do you not have a companion to help you? If you have a companion you can get them to have the enemies focus while you nuke them from afar.

I'm guessing they will try to separate the NA and EU servers so they can do them separately at non-peak times. If not then I presume they will try to do it at peak times in Asia(So non-peak for both NA and EU).

Really, you need more then 1 person to play missions designed for 2-4 players??

Haha - some are doable solo if your the right level above, my Consular and companion has done some Solo with relative ease even with them showing as strong/elite/champion levels - has been tough, but others closer to my level have send me packing

I hope so, if not it would really be bad from Bioware/EA's part.

Maybe it does seem silly to try for those that have played MMO's before. I have not, this is my 1st......

Yes i have a companion but even she cant help in this. As you stated above i need more than myself and my companion to do the mission so there lies the answer.

tbh I thought the Heroic 1 2 3 4 ect was just a difficulty indicator with 1 being not too hard and 4 being rock solid but im a nab at these and i know now

Same here. So if i am soloing ill stick to character specific quests and, unless teaming up with others, avoid things with the heroic title.

Give it a try by all means, it's more challenging but sometimes can be done (well the 2 ones) with you and your companion, I just did one and it took a lot of tactics, cc'ing certain enemies, and focusing on others - as a consular I can heal which makes it easier and using the focus keybinding set to my companion its very easy to switch heals/force armour abilities between us

Same.

I've managed many of the 2 man ones myself as BH but when I got the damn Mandolorians they were too tough and I had to ask for help. tbh it's more fun with other people anyway.

I have all the graphics options on max,but the overall graphics preset is set at low and the bar to change it,is greyed out???

The graphics look like there on a max but im not sure now when the overall is stuck at low?,not sure if this is bug

If I remember correctly from briefly beta testing it last weekend then there are two options, you can either adjust the overall graphics or go more advanced and change multiple things to get the best performance for you(lowering shadows etc.). If you go advanced and put all the settings upto full then that is exactly the same as having the overall graphics at full I believe. So when you use the sliders the overall will grey out as you are not using it. (Hope that makes sense)

I believe that is correct although feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

At level 8 you will level past it so fast it makes a reusable one a little pointless.

Level 16 in that pic; still would heal 1/3rd of my health mind; so I don't think it's that bad...
