Yeah, I agree. This is fine. Imma buy a lion and a labrador and feed that to it. Same thing, yeah.

TBH anyone that feeds a live mammal to another animal needs a kick in the face, regardless of whether it's only a mouse or a cat/horse/buffalo/whale/whatever. Fair enough if there's no sufferening not so bad, but a constrictor doesn't exactly end the life of its prey instantly. There's plenty of suffering involved there, and someone that thinks that's acceptable and does/allows such things to happen under their control is clearly not right in the head.

If I had a snake I would feed it a lion, just to brag to my friends how bad-ass my snake is. Any snake that takes out a lion deserves massive amounts of kudos.

Thread requires ^^Tank^^ to offer an inventive death, to which I'd probably agree with :)

What a surprise, the so called moral people, who are so against crudity, after revenge and cruelty. It happens in every thread and it's not always just a joke. Look at animal right movement for cases.

And you mean modern studies on a few people, which the rest of the population have been inbreed into a different think.

Care to show studies from 50 years ago when it was common and such silly notions where not brainwashed into society.

I think you need a kick in the face. One animal eating another and killing it using it's natural weapons is nature. It's completely natural and just because people throw a hissy fit it shouldn't stop those animals acting as they would in the wild. People don't go to Africa and stop lions and hyenas eating other animals alive even though it's distressing for them, because its natural. Anyone who thinks otherwise isn't right in the head and is clearly not right in the head by way of being out of touch with their own animal instincts. Get a grip.

yes, let's imprison the gays too before they infect all the toilet seats with AIDS

good strong argument there.

But why not, gay laws are based on nothing but emotion, so in your world surly such a law should be fine.

Where in the world I would like to see, is factual evidence before banning things. Which means no such law would exist.

I love the way the article is written at least. Barely a sentence goes by without it trying to drum up hatred and heated emotions and whatnot.

It would be funny if so many weren't obviously caught up by that writing style, but that's the Sun for you. Not accusing anyone here with the intelligence to debate :p

And are considered vermin in other countries and gamekeepers used to be able to classify them as vermin and shoot them.

You could say the same about people though... it's an incredibly poor argument.

I hope you wouldn't feed a cat to a snake if you had one. :(

Sicko?
Do people who feed live animals to pets sick? Or just when it's a cute fluffy animal that gets eaten.
But mice and other things are fine.

I feed dead mice to my snake. And even if it were live it would get killed much quicker than a larger animal like a kitten would.

People are different, to function as a society we need to coexist, weeping means lots of laws like murder.

Feeding an animal to another animal, especially when many if not most find it acceptable to feed rats/mice. Is different, so far no one has said why one is fine and why another isn't.

I wouldn't have either out of choice and if I did have my own pets, they would be for food.

Bloody hell you've missed the point. I have no problem with what goes on in nature. Making and allowing something like this to happen under your own control in your own home is the issue here, and the person that allowed this to happen is clearly not right in the mind by some stretch.

Open your eyes.

playing devils advocate here but whats teh difference between feeding a rat to a python and a cat?

none tbh, other than the moon maidens here will cry and cry until their lunar tears fall on to the bark of the trees they hug and cleanse the pores of the whales they kiss....

And how does that change anything, what's the difference between the poor cute fluffy rat and the annoying snarling cat that poos in everyones garden.

One of the things that rile me up is when I see a cat hunt for birds in my street, its not doing it for food but for fun, this video is actually someone feeding their pet.

I hope you wouldn't feed a cat to a snake if you had one.

No, I never said I would.

People may be emotionally attached to domestic animals, but it still doesn't make it OK.

Trying to win an argument by calling laws 'emotional' is utter tripe, and would get you know where in a proper debate except to make yourself look foolish, except to distract from the actual topic. Your trolling, stop it. (I've deliberately left "Your" in place so someone can pointlessly think they are incredible at the English language and pick up on it and waste a post).
