24GB Ram for x58

Any 1600 Mhz C9 stuff is fine.

4 Gb sticks will barely overclock at all on X58, so just grab the cheapest.

Kingston HyperX Genesis 12GB (3x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Triple Channel ... in my basket, but:

Is there any performance benefit to getting 1.5v dimms instead of 1.65v (lower latency or increased speed with a volt bump maybe?) ...

This may also be better when I come to sell down the line as SB setups prefer the lower volted dimms - minimal benefit really but any excuse :D

No voltage doesnt do anything for these cheap 4 Gb modules ...

I've been through two lots of this cheap 24 Gb ram, and they both ran at 1600 Mhz Cas 9 at 1.25v, but no amount or extra voltage would allow them to run with better timings, nor even reach 1800 Mhz without using 10-10-10-30 timings.

If you see any of these cheapo 1600 Mhz 4 Gb modules, they are all the same stuff that does what it is specified to, but nothing else.
