What does everyone think of the cover mechanics? I find them a little cumbersome personally plus I'd be worried about not finding cover spots in open spaces :p

I found it a little tedious, but no natural cover isn't an issue as you can put down your own cover if there is nothing else available.
 
Im loving this game,currently playing as a JC,but the more i play it and level up i cant help but think im spoiling the game,when released.

Though i im leveling up slowly on purpose,cant see this game being a flop at all.

Gameplay/story is superb.

I think the non-typical MMO plauyers, Star Wars fans and KoToR fans will love it - but a huge section of the market won't because it's not WoW

It will be interesting to see how Wow players sub and how long they stay with the game,this will decide how successful the game is i think.

But from what ive played i cant see this going FTP at all.

Will be about 3 solid pages on the subject when the emails go out I'd expect ;) Wouldnt worry about missing the email.

My question/mussing is whether Euro players will get a 5 day head start from the 17th instead of the 15th, what with our release date being the 22nd instead of the US 20th.

EU release date is the 20th...So it will be 5 days from the 15th for both NA and EU..

I think a lot of wow players and the wrath/cata generation will be put off by the fact that the game is more vanilla wow in setup.

By that I mean there is no LFG/LFR tool, there are no FP's everywhere and you need to group to advance through parts of content.

Having played wow most recently myself even I found it slightly disconcerting atfirst having to engage with the world again rather than treating it as an inconvenience apart from certain questhubs.

I prefer that, I think older mmo'ers will like that and new mmo'ers won't know any better but a lot of wow players will hate it. It reminds meow tbc in terms of engagement with the world and the community.

hopefully i can get the time off come launch, still have days to use but quite a few people booking time off now unfortunately...thank **** i'm not working with a vendor who has a December year end :D
 
For those playing the Beta this weekend, has there been any improvements since the last weekend Beta. I'm mainly interested in whether the Camera issues have been addressed and if you can turn smart cam off ??

Well from what i can tell the FPS and Lag have 100% improved though that may be because there are less users online,though from what i can tell,the worlds still have stacks of players online.

I still have the odd camera issue though.

If you want to look like a camp Bounty Hunter then feel free.

Think I might just make my BH really fat just for the lols. Most of the characters I have seen all use the number 3 body type(The really tall, muscular one) so I want to be different.
