Who here owns a Renaultsport?

Constantly considering selling mine....

Only doing 3,000 miles a year in it and the price is outweighing the justification to keep on to it really. Only places I go is to the train station in the morning and to the cinema / shops.

Considering I have turinis, a miltek, a re-map, official renault sport mats, a cd player that allows ipod usage, springs lowered & fantastic photographs...

I think I could get quite a bit for mine.

From there I would get a 1.4 £1200 car or so and pay much less for insurance and upkeep :\

Thoughts guys? Could pick something like this up for a mere grand...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-FORD...omobiles_UK&hash=item27c0d415ae#ht_500wt_1363

If you do sell up you'd probably be better off selling the Turinis separately (unless you've sold the original 182 alloys?). I can imagine returning the car to as close to standard form as you can would give you more chance of selling it tbh as not everyone wants a modified car these days. Unless of course somebody on cs.net wants it in its current form and is willing to pay that bit extra!

Is this the second or 3rd time you've talked about selling?

The situation is the same as its always been. If you want a fun car, keep the Clio. If you simply want 'a car' to get you around, sell it and buy something else. Only you can define what you want from the car.

Thought about doing a track day?

You need to find some good local roads and take it out for fun. When doing my daily commute I keep thinking that I could be in something a lot better, however on the weekend I'll take it out somewhere for a blast and it'll put a smile on my face :)

I need to sell mine, too. I've found the perfect replacement, but the Clio needs to go first :(

I've just chucked it on CS.net for £1900 to get it gone.

This now has to be the cheapest 182 in the Country? :o

Skeeter did you get a confirmation email? I had connection issues when I paid so the money has left paypal but not sure if the order completed. I have sent them an email, just wondering if you have had anything from them?

Yeah, got a confirmation email.

What's the replacement?

I'm hankering after a nice phase 1 again :(

Missing my old one and with a company car the Impreza hasn't moved for 2 weeks as the 3 series does all the day to day stuff better and cheaper :p

Could probably remap the WRX to give it some more oomph to play with, but not as much fun still and drinks fuel as it is.

Seen a really nice one for sale as well, so so tempted.

Probably, however I do not have the time.

Is it still on the island?

I know people don't like meeting sellers 'in a car park' but you might potentially get more people interested if you brought it over to the mainland than you would if people have to travel to the IoW for it. Lesser of 2 evils?

A mate came to Bedford in his Impreza last week, and while it was epicly fast, he did say that if he was going to do track days more often he would get a Clio or an MX5 as they were more fun and more chuckable, and used half as much fuel getting there and back :)

Oh if I did track stuff then I'd rather have the 172 for that I think :)

Just need to sit and think what I actually want, and what to do about a car for work as that will ultimately dictate what I do.
