Decided to totally change my team - 4321 just wasnt working for me. Have no idea why, just didn't seem to get on with it. I played 41212 last UT so

Have gone with this (which might turn out to be suicidal haha) team/formation:

Played two games so far and won both (although not stellar opposition) so looking kinda hopeful :)
 
That's a lovely looking squad. Not sure on how defensive Nasri and Silva will be right in the middle there though!

Yeah I'd have gone for Yaya and Essien personally but still looks good! Actually I see now you have them on the bench...

Isn't it a rule of thumb that you have 2 quick CBs on the side and the big one in the middle or am I making things up?

Toure - Modric - Essien
Clichy - Kompany - Toure - Sagna
Hart

4-1 down at half time. Decided to change formation to 3-5-2 to pack the midfield. Got the game back to 4-4 and force ET. ET ended 6-6 then I won 5-4 on pens.

Been doing that a lot lately, changing formation. 3 at the back really put a stop to Chico's runs.

Yeah got Yaya and Essien on the bench to shore things up if it's going pete tong. Yeah Stewy i've heard that too but Richards has better heading ability (89) than Kolo or Kompany so thought he'd be better in the centre. That may or may not turn out to work :p none of them are slouches so should be ok keeping up with most players.

Aguero is a beast I tell thee :eek: I was looking at him or SIF Ba but plumped for Aguero as soon as I saw Ba has the 'Injury Prone' trait!
 
Doesn't Richards run up the pitch a lot? Might leave a space in the middle?

Might get Aguero as a sub for Messi. Messi gets knocked over far too easy. Really have to be careful when passing the ball to him. Starting to rely on him now though. His SIF is really starting to show over his NIF. Don't want to sell him but can't really keep a player that is worth 3m-3.5m in the market. His NIF is still a beast.

In the two games I played in this formation I didn't notice it really - I had the 3 defenders in the correct position when the oppo had the ball.

Maybe when he's put in the full back position he maraudes up the field a bit more then when he's been set as a CB?

EDIT: just had a look at my team and I feel so dirty having so many Man City players :p

This game is so infuriating! Some games, passes go where you want them to and everything works well, then other games, no matter how much you try, passes just go astray etc..

Just had a penalty given against me when I didn't even press a single button on the controller, it's just as well these controllers are fairly robust else I'd have gone through about 10 this weekend alone!!!!

Had exactly the same earlier, 3-3 in a cup final, holding teammate contain and Park sticks out a leg... PEN!

I was not a happy bunny.
 
struggling linking up torres with anyone black lines all round lol dosent link with benzema or higuain and i dont like playing with him just on his own

cant use sanchez with him as drops chemistry big time

really tempted to get rid of him and go with higuin and benzema up front and alonso as cf with his passing

sell torres and buy fabregas for the space left by alonso

i have about 10 months left to win a online tourney lol i must do it

biz kid got any bbva players ya dont want

try a cheap russian 4-3-3 they all pacy and eto is amazing to the fact im sure a lot of the stats just dont match the players

I have a russian team, i want something different but every team i have tried its just not working and i get pulled apart even some bronze/gold prem team i had just tore me apart.
 
Do you mix and match? I personally wouldn't have those 3 in your A team starting, would rather have Essien / Toure in the middle.
 
im not an expert but i would think that your prob could be

your 2 cam dont get on and also they dont link up at all with doumbia and he dosent like the position

seems a strange team looks like all pace are you a pace whore lol

i had him when game came out and yeah he was not great

need a good cm though to go with alonso thinking maybe david silva

would absolutley love iniesta or xavi but i dont think it will ever be as i seem to get nobodys when opening packs lol
