same here, not like there not easy to spot, don't understand why they don't just limit it to 3 active at any one time, would be better than a pretty pointless 20 seconds :(.

tried the usual repair from within origin and update to pb ?
 
Looking forward to the patch tomorrow, some good fixes and changes planned.

See they are increasing Stinger damage :p

Sorry i got that wrong, i ment base rape is allowed so long as not all the flags are capped.

I seem unable to take down any helicopters and planes with my stinger!, any tips?. I don't fire as soon as I lock on but wait abit and shoot, however instant flare and the rocket doesn't hit. I lock back on, reload fire and the guy has already reloaded his flares by the time the rocket heads towards it's target

But it's the time after the flares. It's flying towards him, straight and then lands infront of him and it's still trying to lock on?

Might as well of equipped RPGs and just launched those at him... or used harsh language.

If TFU members were base raping then ce la vie tbh. It happens in clan games. I would rather they didn't but I am not going to stop them doing what THEY WANT TO DO ON A SERVER THAT THEY PAY FOR! If you have a problem then... errr... go play on the SMOGSY well admin'd server.

And finally, softcore is for punks with bad internet speeds and little skill. In less than two words, discuss
 
I haven't had stealth on my plane for a while now and haven't really needed it, any ground target that locks on to you is only one flare away from being out of range and not a threat so it isn't really necessary...

On choppers though its a must as i still get a number of stinger kills against choppers (when i am right below them), glad to see they are making these even better.

Also by the sound of it they are fixing my joysticks throttle control which will be nice to actually have more than constant 100% and another key for slowing down.

Lots of nice changes, looking forward to the patch... I read somewhere that they were fixing spawning back at base when your spawn choice dies/is decapped but couldn't see this in the notes, can anyone confirm this is being fixed?

Is this your forum and thread then? Didnt realise I was on the TFU boards.

I just posted about something I read and it seemed to be backed up by a few on that forum and funnily enough people on here dont hold your TFU in much regard.

Im not out to get anyone banned from your team, I dont really care about your team tbh was just posting because someone linked up a supposed good player when I remembered that id seen a previous discussion about TFU players.

Dont get so worked up, ill try dig out the forum its posted on and you can go defend your actions over there.
 
One thing I never see is video's from apparently very skilled players with high kills and low death rates. It was the same in BFBC2 some members who had like 50/8 without tanks or heli's claiming high skill and not hacking we never seen any video proof, perhaps there skills would help others?
 
Have they changed anything on the mortar bull?

I think 2 things, 1 - you shouldnt be able to setup in spawn with it... as you can hide in the deadzone and just do that all day and 2 - should be able to fire into the spawnzone either of the other team. Force the mortar man to be more mobile.

I've seen mortar guys die in spawn from other mortars. If you stand still in this game you die
