contacts etc from Blackberry to iPhone

Hi, mate of mine just got a iPhone 4s did have a Blackberry Bold.

Anyway of somehow getting all his contacts from his BB over to the new iphone,

or is it best to use outlook and then synch the BB then synch the iPhone

Is there an Orange contacts sync app for Blackberry? As you could backup to that and use the iPhone one to restore them.

I've found the easiest way is to use Google sync,

My friend switched from BB to Iphone a couple of days ago, everything got synced over through Google. Same way I did mine also a couple of days ago from Androind to Android.

Synch Blackberry to Outlook using the Blackberry desktop manager.

Synch Itunes with Outlook.

You could probably get away with using Outlook express.

I'd recommend google sync if he's a user of gmail otherwise the outlook method is fine. Make sure you have the latest desktop manager if you use the outlook method, older versions do some er... interesting things.

looking at google sync, do not think that can be used as the Blackberry is now not 'active' as his number is now on the iPhone.

It will still work over WIFI even if the mobile line has been disconnected
